Why is the "The Scribe" a reliable source?Bless sins 15:46, 23 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Why not? Str1977 (smile back) 08:14, 24 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Perhaps this source would suit this article better - http://www.fis-iran.org/en/irannameh/volxix/mashhad-jewish-community

but anyway the existance of this community and this affair is rather well known. 85.64.221.163 (talk) 20:22, 27 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Non-Iranian Sources and this "Dog Carcass" Repulsive Myth of the Two Cited Anti-Iranian Racist Authors

[edit]

There are tons of Iranian sources on this community on this event and never was there any mention of a "dog carcass". Not in any Iranian Jewish communities anywhere do they speak of this event and a "dog carcass". This was shocking to see on WikiPedia. The author of the original article decided to use only Western sources that are in political contention with Iran's current scenarios who are non-Iranian and otherwise contradict the basic consensus of subject matter experts on the supposed relations between Europe's Jewry and Iran's 2,500 year older Jewish community. Iranian Jewish commentary would contend that Europe's Jewry never helped Iran's Jews, and in fact, caused the actual upset that happened in the first place with Sephardic banking practices. There was never any academic mention otherwise of some "dog" and a "dog carcass". This article reads like a tabloid just by looking at it in its current state and needs updates.
