Trivia

  • Moltisanti shoots a bakery clerk in the foot in retaliation for slow service in Season 1 — a nod to the actor Imperioli's character in Goodfellas, Spider, who was shot in the foot for the same reason.
  • In one episode, Soprano and Silvio Dante are waiting for Moltisanti to arrive; when he shows up late he explains that "...the highway was jammed with broken heroes on a last-chance power drive", paraphrasing the lyrics to Bruce Springsteen's song "Born to Run". Steven Van Zandt (who plays Silvio Dante) is in Springsteen's E Street Band.
  • Moltisanti is the only character on the show who is allowed to regularly wear sunglasses, according to David Chase; however, both Soprano and Jackie Aprile Jr. have been seen wearing sunglasses on at least two occasions, and Big Pussy wears a pair during Jackie Sr.'s funeral in episode 4. At the end of episode 24, "House Arrest", Gaultieri is wearing sunglasses while sunbathing.
  • In the Family Guy episode "Sibling Rivalry", he helps Stewie dig a hole for a tree.
  • There is currently a lack of consensus among fans regarding Christopher Moltisanti's age. Early seasons suggested Moltisanti to be in his early twenties and much younger than his counterparts, but information regarding his childhood relationship with Tony Soprano and Tony Blundetto revealed in Season 5 put him at being much older. This possible inconsistency has made it difficult to determine his age.
  • Christopher is tied with Paulie Walnuts for the most on-screen murders with 8.
