"The Blue Comet" is the 85th episode of the HBO original series, The Sopranos. It is the eighth episode of the second half of the show's sixth season. The episode was written by Matthew Weiner and David Chase and was directed by Alan Taylor. It is due to air on Sunday June 3, 2007.

"The allegiance of those closest to Tony is put to the test; a case of mistaken identity has serious ramifications."[1]

A hit is put out on Tony Soprano, Silvio Dante, and Bobby Baccalieri by the Brooklyn family. In retaliation to this, Tony orders a hit out on Phil Leotardo.
