Kamen Rider Dragon Knight is title of the American adaptation of Kamen Rider Ryuki, the twelfth installment in the Kamen Rider Series. Its scheduled premiere date is 2008-02-27. It is being brought to television by the creative team of The Wang Brothers, Steve Wang and Michael Wang. According to the official website, the series will play through 2008, with a wide-release theatrical film expected in 2009.[1]
Plot and characters
What is known from the official site is that the main character, Kit Taylor, is searching for his missing father. He finds an "Advent Card" that allows him to turn into Kamen Rider Dragon Knight. He also meets up with Len who is Kamen Rider Wing Knight and the leader of the Kamen Riders. Kit joins up with Len after he learns that his father was captured by the evil General Xaviax in the Mirror World, a dimension opposite to our own in which the Kamen Riders can only exist, and that if the other Advent Cards are not found, they will have to face Dark Kamen Riders.[1]
