The Collin County Community College District is a community college district which serves in Collin County, Texas, north of Dallas. Founded in 1985, the district has grown as the county has grown: from around 5,000 students in 1986 to over 41,000 in 2007.

The college was renamed as "Collin College" as of Summer 2007, there are also plans to build a new campus in Farmersville and a four year campus in Mckinney of off US-75 & future Toll road 121
