Your edit to Grecotel S.A.

Message posted on Monday, May 21, 2007

Please do not post copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder, as you did to Grecotel S.A.. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites (http://www.invgr.com/company_profiles.htm in this case) or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously, and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If you believe that the article is not a copyright violation, or if you have permission from the copyright holder to release the content freely under the GNU Free Documentation License (GFDL) then you should do one of the following:

  • If you have permission from the author leave a message explaining the details on the article Talk page and send an email with the message to "permissions-en (at) wikimedia (dot) org". See Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for instructions.
  • If a note on the original website states that re-use is permitted under the GFDL or released into the public domain leave a note at Talk:Grecotel S.A. with a link to where we can find that note;
  • If you own the copyright to the material: send an e-mail from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en(at)wikimedia(dot)org or a postal message to the Wikimedia Foundation permitting re-use under the GFDL, and note that you have done so on the article Talk page. Alternatively, you may create a note on your web page releasing the work under the GFDL and then leave a note at Talk:Grecotel S.A. with a link to the details.

Otherwise, you are encouraged to rewrite this article in your own words to avoid any copyright infringement. After you do so, you should place a {{hangon}} tag on the article page and leave a note at Talk:Grecotel S.A. saying you have done so. An administrator will review the new content before taking action.

It is also important that all Wikipedia articles have an encyclopedic tone and follow Wikipedia article layout. For more information on Wikipedia's policies, see Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.

Hi, please do not remove Greek companies from the Greek companies list simply because they do not have an internet address. Having an internet address is not the prerequisite for being on that list - that list is for companies wholly or partially owned by Greeks. Removing companies is unfair both to those who founded and currently operate the companies and to those Greeks who work hard day in day out in those companies. Thanks

Hi, i think that you have to accept that avra mineral water or other water products from various parts of Greece and Cyprus do not constitute a company; they are just products and they do not belong to the list. If you kindly have a look to similar lists of companies from other countries you will be suprised to find out that most companies have their own wiki page not just an internet site. There are more than 60,000 companies currently in Greece. Where do we draw a line? All the Greeks work equally hard and they have the right to be represented. But we have to be realistic. If we continue to just add companies without any limitation very soon the list will be truncated or worse the page will be inactivated. I appreciate your interest in greek ompanies but let me tell you that i am equally sympathetic to the hard work of all Greeks being Greek myself thank you Ipodamos

I've been watching this page since I caught it when it was nominated for deletion (and fought to have it kept). I'd like to request that you take a look at the discussion about the proposed deletion, and the reasons why people wanted it deleted. In particular, please do not add external links within the body of the article. Take a look at some of the other similar pages on Wikipedia for comparison and examples of consensus-decided styles which should be used in this article: List of museums in Egypt and List of museums in England are good ones. So if you do not go through and remove those external links, then I will do so again - I was the one who removed them in order to try and prevent the list from getting deleted. Thank you for your contributions, however - that page does need a lot of work, and you have contributed very nicely, especially with the organization work that needs to get done there. -- Smith120bh/TALK 05:27, 16 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
