"Kitty Kat" is a R&B song from Beyoncé' second studio album, B'Day (see 2006 in music). It was never released as an official single, but it garnered airplay on R&B stations and managed to peak at #66 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs Chart.

Description of the video

Beyoncé said on her video album, the song was is about when she has aittdue. Cats always have aittdues all the time, she says.

The song was written by Beyoncé Knowles, Pharrell Williams, Shawn "Jay-Z" Carter, and Makeba. It was published by B-Day publishing/EMI Music Publishing (ASCAP), Waters of Nazareth Publishing/EMI-Blackwood Music Inc. (BMI), Carter Boys Publishing/EMI April Music, Inc. (ASCAP), and by Makeba Yoga Flames Music (BMI)/Janice Combs Publishing Inc. (BMI)/EMI Blackwood Music Inc. (BMI). It was produced by The Neptunes & Beyoncé Knowles for Music World Productions, Inc. It was recorded by Jim Caruana & Geoff Rice at Sony Music Studios, NYC, assisted by Rob Kinelski & Andrew Coleman at the Record Plant Studios, Los Angeles, CA. The song was mixed by Jason Goldstein for Clear Water Entertainment at Sony Music Studios, NYC, assisted by Steve Tolle.

The music video for "Kitty Kat" is an intro to the music video for "Green Light". Meliana directed the music video and Beyoncé co-directed the video.

The video has not piremerd on MTV's first look television, but you can see it on MTV website, YouTube, BET's 106 & Park along with "Green Light". Also on Beyoncé's video album, which the DVD was released in the US on April 3, 2007. The video was piremed on Yahoo! Music on April 5, 2007 along with "Green Light".
