Gerena is a municipality in provice of Seville. As of 2007, it has 6,000 inhabitants. Its superficial extension is of 129 km² and has a 45.2 density of hab/km². It is located at an altitude of 86 meters and it is 25 kilometers far from the province capital, Seville. Belonging to the region of the Route of the Silver and the Mancomunidad of the Sierra Norte range.
