Panun Kashmir is an organisation of displaced Kashmiri Pandits. Panun Kashmir also is the name of an area in Jammu and Kashmir demanded by the Kashmiri Pandits for their safety and security. Panun Kashmir means our own Kashmir in Kashmiri. Kashmiri Hindus have demanded a separate state, to escape from the attacks committed by the militants.[citation needed]

Panun Kashmir's advocates desire that the majority of the valley of Kashmir, including major cities such as Srinagar, Anantnag, Sopore, Baramulla, Varmul, and Awantipora be included in the Kashmiri Hindu homeland.[1]
