Talk:Infinity on High
Thriller is the official name for Car Crash Hearts and The Take Over The Breaks over has also been confirmed alond with Arms Race, Carpal Tunnel, Thriller and Basically the whole album is confirmed already and all the titles are final and the title of Satisfaction I believe has been changed to another title. So basically the tracklisting that was up yesterday was the correct tracklisting.

Where are all these song titles coming from? As far as I know, only Arms Race, Carpal Tunnel, and Its Hard... have been confirmed (125.236.142.80 01:38, 28 December 2006 (UTC))
- You can check out Absolutepunk.net for the tracklisting. --DJREJECTED 02:45, 28 December 2006 (UTC)
The current track listing is wrong. That is the old track listing.PrestonxSmith 22:25, 8 January 2007 (UTC)

Confirmed at [3][4][5] Someone should fix it, because the information on the page is currently false. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Russ is the sex (talk • contribs) 22:31, 8 January 2007 (UTC).
I am changing the official tracklisting to reflect recent updates. I do not find it funny that someone changed my words. This tracklisting changes so much and I bet everything has a different name by the time February 6th rolls around. --Russ is the sex 03:55, 16 January 2007 (UTC)
User:189.173.36.202 made a false edit to my entry. I have reverted the edits. --Russ is the sex 22:21, 16 January 2007 (UTC)
- Best Buy labels a different tracklisting [6]. --DJREJECTED 01:28, 11 January 2007 (UTC)
Yeah, and on Fall Out Boy's official webstore it's listed that way, except the first track is "Thriller" instead of Car Crash Hearts. I would trust these sources more than Best Buy. --66.122.243.195 04:34, 11 January 2007 (UTC)
If you go to AOL's music section and go to AOL Sessions, FOB plays two new songs from the album, one of them actually being "Thriller", so you can guess that it's the official title instead of "Car Crash Hearts". -- Faded 10:03, 11 January 2007 (UTC)
Amazon.co.uk is listing 'G.I.N.A.S.F.S (UK Bonus Track)' as another uk bonus track ontop of true blue... any confirmation???
http://store.fueledbyramen.com/albumview.asp?idproduct=29718 - Infinity on High available for pre-order on the FBR site. Current OFFICIAL tracklisting (It does say tentative on the site), so the current one is correct. It has been confirmed that Thriller also features Jay-Z, however, so I guess that could still be edited in.
"G.I.N.A.S.F.S" and a new track title "Don't You Know Who I Think I Am?" (track 8) have appeared on [7]. Jfb392 23:08, 13 January 2007 (UTC)
- Whoever edited my edit to make it false, I will find out who you are. --Russ is the sex 03:43, 16 January 2007 (UTC)
This Ain't A Scene, It's An Arms Race was added as a single on iTunes on January 16. [8] Hopefully the album comes soon. Next week, maybe? --chrisdazzo
- I have updated the tracklisting again to reflect the changes made on various sites as to what the tracklisting is. [9][10][11]--Russ is the sex 23:05, 18 January 2007 (UTC)
- I see the corrected track listing here, but not on the article, so I'm making the edit.
- Is The track listing correct now (i.e. with the plus sign in track 4 and the brackets in track 12)? Jewisharific 06:23, 10 August 2007 (UTC)

- I will add the times to the list I made above. I have a few corrections to the times, however. --Russ is the sex 21:24, 20 January 2007 (UTC)
- "My" should be capitalized on the last track. Also, the "the" in the second track should probably be lowercase Evan Reyes 09:11, 21 January 2007 (UTC)
Ashlee Simpson?
Anyone have information about the song All My Satisfaction Featuring Ashlee Simpson (Japan Bonus Track)???
- Their is no proof that a track of this title exists. --Russ is the sex 23:35, 16 January 2007 (UTC)
How long is this going to be edit protected?
Hasn't it been over a week. Oh well whoever is in charge add a February 7th release date for Japan and will contain two bonus tracks "G.I.N.A.S.F.S." and "It's Hard to Say "I Do" When I Don't". It will also feature a bonus DVD with their last 4 videos and making of the album and live material. [12] --DJREJECTED 23:14, 16 January 2007 (UTC)
- The edit war is still obviously ongoing. Because of this it would be unwise to unprotect the article. --Russ is the sex 23:35, 16 January 2007 (UTC)
The album's been leaked, with the proper tracklisting, so would it be wise to request unprotection? Bown 09:51, 20 January 2007 (UTC)
- The problem with that is that many people will still try to vandalize it. Maybe moving Infinity on High's article protection to semi would do the trick. --Russ is the sex 16:53, 20 January 2007 (UTC)
Just requested it to be semi protected. Shrodes 23:46, 21 January 2007 (UTC)
G.I.N.A.S.F.S. and other song name information
- For those wondering, the letters G.I.N.A.S.F.S. stand for Gay Is Not A Synonym For Shitty. --Russ is the sex 23:42, 16 January 2007 (UTC)
- Also, Thnks fr th Mmrs is just Thanks for the Memories with the vowels removed. --Russ is the sex 21:28, 20 January 2007 (UTC)
- The track Thriller was originally known as Car Crash Hearts, and You're Crashing, But You're No Wave was originally known as Law And Order Bown 09:02, 21 January 2007 (UTC)
G.I.N.A.S.F.S. UK Bonus track
acording to amazon.co.uk and hmv.co.uk
can someone please add to track listingas track 15
thank you
- To whoever posted this. The answer is no. It is already listed as a bonus track and is not part of the standard tracklisting. --Russ is the sex 02:37, 22 January 2007 (UTC)
Track 13
The word "my" in track 13 should be capitalized. No reason for it to be lowercase. Please fix this. Evan Reyes 06:08, 22 January 2007 (UTC)
Added...
I added details on the Japan Bonus DVD, and the B-Side / HMV preorder info for G.I.N.A.S.F.S Shrodes 01:03, 23 January 2007 (UTC)
Guitar Solos
On personnel, it says the Panic and NFG guitarists did guest solos on "You're Crashing, But You're No Wave", but there aren't really any proper solos on that track. In fact, the only real solos on the record are on "The Take Over, The Break's Over", which has two different-sounding solos. Could this be the track with the guest guitarists instead? Bown 22:25, 23 January 2007 (UTC)
What Happened to...
(You Can't Spell Star Without A&R) (They Make Plans, We Make History) and (I Liked You A Lot Better Before You Were a MySpace Whore) (or if it's name WAS changed, the new name). Jimarib 05:02, 27 January 2007 (UTC)
Information in the Notes
Thriller had a working title of Car Crash Hearts was told on TRL one day while they showed This Ain't A Scene, It's an Arms Race, but there isn't any way to prove this, because it was on a live show that repeats once, and the little blurbs aren't written anywhere from a good source. The performances of Thriller, The Take Over, The Breaks Over, and This Ain't A Scene It's An Arms Race I *think* are somewhere on the TRL site, but i can't open that because of all the flash things it needs, so someone else will have to do it. Best buy downloads
If you buy the cd at best buy, which i did, there is a little paper on the inside saying that if you go to http://www.falloutboy.islandrecords.com/bestbuy you can dowload FINASFS and a remix of TAAS,IAAR, but for some reason it says the page cannot be displayed. Does anyone know why? Also, how come I can't download the Leaked in London; I have the CD in? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Icelandic Hurricane (talk • contribs) 01:23, 8 February 2007 (UTC).
Try again, don't have any media player running at all. (The-kid-was-alright 05:09, 8 February 2007 (UTC))
Oh well I figured out how 2 download the best buy songs, there's now "www" at the beginning of the address, but i still can't download leaked in london. icelandic hurricane #12 (talk) 00:47, 12 February 2007 (UTC)
Some one plz tell me why I can't download Leaked in london before 5:00 EST (I need to calm down)! icelandic hurricane #12 (talk) 12:42, 12 February 2007 (UTC)
- This talk page is really not a forum. It is merely for discussion of changes made to the Wikipedia article. But to help you out a little, there are tons of torrent sites you can download the EP from, which I guess wouldn't even be all that illegal given you own the CD and (desperately :)) try downloading it legally. --HarryCane 14:05, 12 February 2007 (UTC)
Last track?
New Zealandian ain't a word... :P
And MS Sam says "Now Press Repeat" at the end of "Gay Is Not.." on my cd, so I'm assuming it's after the last track. Does anybody know if the Japanese version had it at the end of "It's Hard To Say..."? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by The-kid-was-alright (talk • contribs) 05:16, 8 February 2007 (UTC).
Yeah, I've heard it on youtube. "It's at the end of It's Hard To say I do When I don't" Living Long, The Car Crash Heart is still beating 04:17, 16 February 2007 (UTC)
Okay, something's screwed up. I have the American cd, and there are no bonus tracks. Chaz 23:30, 19 July 2007 (UTC)
Thriller and Thanks fr th mmrs
Anyone have any credible sources that these are future singles?? I heard that Takeover was the second but that was on a forum and that isn't really a proper source. SilverNightFire 07:04, 13 February 2007 (UTC)
Not So sure about "Thnks fr th mmrs", but they have said that they want to outsell Micheal Jacksons Thriller single, so it's likely. Living Long, The Car Crash Heart is still beating 04:19, 16 February 2007 (UTC)
Good point! I recall them saying something about that in an interview somewhere. Apparently thnks fr th mmrs was revealed to be the second single from a bbc radio 1 interview in england or somethin (or so the main FOB article says), but I searched and couldn't find anything on it besides the WP article SilverNightFire 14:38, 16 February 2007 (UTC)
Chart Positions
Can we get some chart positions on here soon? Xsxex 19:32, 16 February 2007 (UTC)
Lyrics
Who wrote it? Wishera 22:25, 20 February 2007 (UTC)
Pete wrote the lyrics, Pat wrote the music SilverNightFire 10:23, 9 March 2007 (UTC)
- Are you sure? I've heard that Pat wrote lyrics for "the take over the breaks over"... Wishera 17:44, 17 May 2007 (UTC)
I have a seperate lyrics querie... Some music pages have lyrics on them, which i find a little confusing - is it because not many people who contribute know the lyrics to certain songs, or they do but don't bother, or is it just something not really added here? With certain rules applicable to one article and not the other, I'm not sure whether to add lyrics to the singles in IOH out so far. (Perhaps it's not 'relevant' to the whole album, but it's this rather than on each singles page) Blackdragonwings 21:17, 20 April 2007 (UTC)
Next Singles
Apparently there are at least two more singles with videos. www.falloutboyrock.com confirms this. (125.238.231.15 09:23, 4 April 2007 (UTC)) No, Pete said on the Late show that there would only be 2 singles off this album as they want to start recording the next one straight away.
WTF?!
Do we really need a page for every single song off Infinity on High?? The only ones that really need a page are the singles, the rest are a waste of space.
- While I agree we don't need a page for every song, I don't exactly agree with your singles statement. If a song is notable enough, single or not, it should get its own article. // DecaimientoPoético 02:05, 3 June 2007 (UTC)
The Take Over...
The Take Over, The Break's Over IS the next single and it has been confirmed. (125.238.232.138 01:55, 3 June 2007 (UTC))
- Just out of curousity, where has it been confirmed? No one has provided such info, hence why it keeps being removed. // DecaimientoPoético 02:04, 3 June 2007 (UTC)
Bonus Track Code?
Can anyone post the code to get GINASFS and Arm's Race Remix and that other one?
NZ Platinum Edition
http://www.gpstore.co.nz/Music/1546785.html
In case anyone wanted proof, it's there. Same cover. It deserves a place in the article as it's bonus tracks, etc. (125.238.230.7 06:24, 3 September 2007 (UTC))
Platinum Edition Name Changes?
There are a few little differences in track names on the Australian platinum edition of infinity...a few subtle ones such as the quotation marks being dropped from "The Take Over, The Breaks Over" and .4 being called "I'm Like A Lawyer With All The Ways I'm Always Trying To Get You Off (Me & You)" (Attention to the "All the Ways" and the "&" instead of the "+". The list also drops the "All" from "I've Got This Ringing In My Ears And None On My Fingers". Hope that made more sense than It did when I reread it... Kokiri kid 03:49, 29 October 2007 (UTC)
