"My Only Wish (This Year)" is a Christmas song by Britney Spears. The song received very positive reviews, and is currently featured on Now That's What I Call Christmas!, Platinum Christmas, and Ultimate Christmas 2. Even though the song was released to the radio, no video was ever recorded.
In December of 2006, Britney fans on http://www.breatheheavy.com organized a campaign titled "My Only Wish This Year". The plan was this: On December 20, 2006, fans were to purchase the single from iTunes, one or multiple times. The goal of the project was to propel the song into the Top 10 chart, "where Britney belongs". The project didn't get the results intended but it did get the song in the top 30.
