Deletion Review for Devil Said Play

Wiki Admin Pegasus had deleted this page on two occasions. We request the chance to edit the page and add the proper and current information (History, etc.). Is it possible to recover work that has already been performed? As this is my first page, what exactly is required to remove deletion flags?

Thank you.

ZOOZOOM Article Deletion

I have questions concerning the deletion of article 'ZOOZOOM.' I am the same user as ZOOZOOM10. I have created a new username as our IP address and username have been blocked and I don't know any other way to ask a question.

Currently the article has been tagged as advertising.

The goal in writing the article was to document the existence of ZOOZOOM magazine. What parts of the article are problematic and/or considered 'advertising' and how can the article be written to satisfy your criteria?

Perhaps reading WP:NPOV and WP:VER will help. The article should be written based only on what third-party sources, independent of the magazine's publisher, have written about it. Pegasus «C¦ 07:47, 26 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion Review for The People's Cube

I request that the article be restored to my userspace so I can work on it to attempt to address the problems that led to deletion.

I apologize for not studying the requirements more closely, it is my first article and I was hasty.

If given a second chance I’ll rewrite the whole piece, and follow any instructions you may have.

The People’s Cube is a popular and growing site and I hope it is worthy of an article at Wikipedia. There are similar sites with articles that I will take cues from.

Thank you.

International Association for Information and Data Quality

Dear Pegasus

While I have been a Wikipedia contribotor for about a year, I still am not expert. Tonite I wrote an article about the International Association for Information and Data Quality. Yes I pressed save, and continued to make edits. Before I could complete, you had deleted the article. You quite reasonably asked me to justify why the association is significant, but before I had the chance to do anything, the article was deleted.

Please help me here.

I believe IAIDQ is a significant organisation, ahd is significant in what it is trying to do. There are already separate articles on data quality and information quality on Wikipedia. IAIDQ is referenced in both those articles.

The warning for speedy deletion spoke of justifying that an association be significant.

To help me understand where you are coming from, and to help me argue my case, please explain what you mean by significant. My reading of the guidelines did not suggest that this article did not comply.

Regards BlueMoses (talk) 10:52, 27 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The article read like promotional prose for the organisation. To avoid this, find third-party sources not related to the association that discuss it at length. Cite these sources in the article. Our neutral point of view and notability policies are also relevant here. Pegasus «C¦ 10:56, 27 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Skizoo

I'd like to know why you deleted the article Skizoo. Rockk3r (talk) 16:20, 28 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, didn't notice they were signed to EMI which is of course a famous record label. I've restored the page. Pegasus «C¦ 23:18, 27 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
