The X-Family (simplified Chinese: 终极一家; traditional Chinese: 終極一家; pinyin: zhōng jí yī jiā) is a Taiwanese drama that aired in Taiwan on August 8, 2007 starring Pauline Lan, Jiro Wang, Danson Tang, Huang Xiao Rou, Calvin Chen, and Aaron Yan. It is the sequel to KO One, which aired in the winter of 2005 through the spring of 2006.
Synopsis
Beside our own time-space, there are eleven other dimensions that exist side by side with Mojie, a dimension where evil resides. Mojie has taken over ten of these dimensions in a series of showdowns between good and evil. However, the inter-dimensional war for the Gold dimension resulted in a tie in which both Mojie forces and KO fighters suffered great damages. Now, the story continues in the Iron dimension where the outcome has yet to be decided.
Xiu is charged with the mission to find KO fighters’ alternate selves in his corresponding Iron dimension in order to restore their powers and turn the tide against the dark forces. His search leads him to a boy named Xia Tian, Wang Da Dong's counterpart, who has the potential to become a savior of worlds, a Zhong Ji Tie Ke Ren.
Xia Tian’s incredible power is sealed away by a Feng Long Tie on his neck making him essentially a Ma Gua. Any attempt to use his power would awaken Gui Long, an evil entity in him. But, Gui Long is not the only obstacle Xia Tian has to overcome to become the Zhong Ji Tie Ke Ren. His family’s objections and his own lack of interest in becoming the savior of worlds is another. However, his attitude begins to change after he meets a girl from his childhood, Han. To save her life, he boldly goes into Mie to recover her soul. Then and there, he realizes he needs to become stronger so he could protect those he loves.
Although Xia Tian has the resolve to become the Zhong Ji Tie Ke Ren, he must go through many more tests and trials that will break his bones and his heart before he could be the one.

The Xia Lan Xing De Family (夏蘭荇德 家族)
Xia Xiong (夏雄)
Xia Lan Xing De Xiong (夏蘭荇德 雄) (43 years old), also known as Xia Xiong, is the mother of Xia Yu, Xia Tian, and Xia Mei.
As the sole bread winner in the family and owner of a truck company, she takes on the roles that traditionally belong to fathers and sons.
Despite her tough exterior, she desires the closeness and comfort of a normal family life.
She loves to cook, but most people are repulsed by her cooking because she makes the worst food and would do anything to avoid eating it. The only people that enjoy her cooking are Demon Hunter, Jiu Wu and herself, which explains why she doesn't stop making food even though everybody protests.
She wants her children to lead normal lives, so she sealed Xia Tian and Xia Mei's powers with a Feng Long Tie since they were young. Of all her children, she worries about Xia Tian the most. His closeness with his father upsets her because she does not want her son to follow his father's footsteps in becoming a musician.
She divorced Ye Si Ren because he was irresponsible as a father and unfaithful as a husband. Although, her marriage fell apart years ago, she still loves Ye Si Ren and desires his company. When Ye Si Ren reveals his identity as a member of the Ye He Na La Family, she finally expresses her feelings for him and the two of them become closer than ever. But obstacles don't stop coming in-between them from there; first, they learn that Han is Ye Si Ren's long lost daughter which angers Xia Xiong. Second, the master of the Ye family uses his own son to try and take over the world. And finally, Xia Xiong gets trapped in the dimensional border and her loved ones almost forgot about her. But after going through these obstacles, the two finally end up together again.
Because of her manly personality, people usually refer to her as Xiong Ge (雄哥) meaning Big Brother Xiong; people including her father Xia Liu, her ex-husband Ye Si Ren, and her eldest son Xia Yu. Aside from her everyday nickname, she also has other nicknames; Lao Mu Da Ling (Mama Darling - 老母達令) by Xia Mei and Lao Ma (Mom - 老媽) by Xia Tian; Lan Ling Wang also calls her Fu Ren (夫人 - meaning something like Madam or Mrs).
She wears a glove called “Qi Lin Shou” (麒麟手) to cast a Xia family spell called “Qi Lin Mai Chong Guang Tao Can” (麒麟脈衝光套餐). She also has a Wu Feng (烏風), which is a gun given to her by The God of Guns. It is powerful enough to kill any evil entity and is able to temporarily transfer the combined power of 99 spirits trapped in the Wu Feng (烏風) to a person who is completely pure in heart and mind with the help of The Great Traveler. While The God of Guns can access the gun's full potential, she can only access 30 percent of its powers.
Xia Tian (夏天) / Gui Long (鬼龍)
Xia Lan Xing De Tian (夏蘭荇德 天) (17 years old), also known as Xia Tian (Summer in translation), is the middle child of the Xia siblings.
Xia Tian is a sweet kid with a good heart, but he often gets taken advantage of due to his naivety. Though he is born with powerful abilities, he dislikes using them.
Since he made little effort in controlling his powerful but unstable abilities, a Feng Long Tie (封龍貼) was placed on his neck making him no different from a Ma Gua. However, when he takes off the Feng Long Tie, he transforms into Gui Long (鬼龍 / Ghostly Dragon), a rebellious personality with greater powers and affinity for evil, who on several occasions, attempts to destroy Xia Tian in order to become the dominant personality. But although they are enemies, they have once come together to fight against Zack, their evil counterpart from the Bronze Dimension. Despite Xia Tian’s inability to control Gui Long, his mother made him the guardian of the Xia family heirloom, the Feng Long Ka (封龍卡), a mini disk containing everything about power-users. The disk is embedded in the Gui Long Pi Ke (鬼龍鎞克), the guitar pick that Gui Long uses as his weapon.
Xiu believes Xia Tian has the potential to become a Zhong Ji Tie Ke Ren (終極鐵克人), a savior of worlds, so he taught Xia Tian to play guitar and control Gui Long. Xia Tian would eventually become strong enough to remain as himself without the Feng Long Tie.
His biggest motivation for developing his power is Han, a girl he met when he was a child and has liked ever since. To save her life, he rushed into Mie to rescue her trapped soul and was willing to trade his soul for hers. When they both safely returned to the human world, their love blossomed, but not without trials. First, his father told him Han was his half-sister. They were forced to separate and treat each other with indifference. Then, he found out Han was part his paternal grandfather’s conspiracy to steal his power. His grandfather’s plan backfired and took Gui Long with it. But the good news is that he and Han are not related and the two finally get a happy ending.
He dreams to follow his father’s footsteps and become a musician, an idea his mother strongly opposes to initially. Eventually he convinces his mother to allow him to follow his dream, and then becomes the lead singer of Dong Cheng Wei (東城衛).
In order for Xia Tian to become Zhong Ji Tie Ke Ren, he must find the five original power-users of wind, fire, thunder, lightning and rain and collect their elements. Eventually, he collects the five elemental powers and becomes the legendary Zhong Ji Tie Ke Ren, and uses the guitar Tie Ke Wu Ji (鐵克無極) as his primary weapon.
Xia Tian is nicknamed Xiao Ge (小哥), meaning Little Big Brother, by his sister.
Xia Tian has an alternate counterpart named Wang Da Dong (汪大東) in the Gold Dimension and an evil alternate counterpart named Zack in the Bronze Dimension.<br=clear "all">
Xia Yu (夏宇) / Gui Feng (鬼鳳)
Xia Lan Xing De Yu (夏蘭荇德 宇) (22 years old), also known as Xia Yu, is the eldest of the three siblings.
Xia Yu rarely worries his mother.
As a student majoring in law and finance at National Taiwan University, he is great with money and handles the family budget, and is also a money-lover. He always cooks and takes care of his younger siblings during his mother's absence.
Despite being the person everyone trusts and relies on, he resents being the only Ma Gua in the family and doing the menial jobs around the home. His resentment grows when he found out that his mother had given the Feng Long Ka to Xia Tian instead of him, the eldest son, because of his Ma Gua status. Evil sees his jealousy and uses that to turn him evil by giving him a ring to absorb other people's powers. The ring unwittingly unlocks Xia Yu's sealed power. As it turns out, he is not a Ma Gua by birth. Rather, his father secretly sealed his power upon birth because he exhibited the evil genes. When he fully comes into his powers, his dark instincts start to take over. The situation forces his father to use the Soul Cleansing Melody (洗魂曲) to cleanse his soul and seal his power again.
Although he did not have any real love interest in the story, he did fall for the Fire Ant Girl, an assassin his paternal grandfather sent. He learned the ant-language so as to communicate with her and he truly cared for her. However, their relationship did not last as she was soon killed by Xia Tian's evil counterpart, Zack.
Xia Yu's powers remain sealed until his paternal grandfather's plan to take over the world backfires causing a beam of dark energy to strike directly at him, turning him into Gui Feng (鬼鳳 / Ghostly Phoenix), who is the original power-user of fire (火). Gui Feng is so powerful that not even the Feng Long Tie can suppress him completely. But since his element is needed to help Xia Tian become Zhong Ji Tie Ke Ren, they cannot strip his powers away. His family eventually find a way to contain Gui Feng by using Bing Gu Zhou to cool his fire, which gives Xia Yu the time that he needs to learn to control Gui Feng. Later on, Gui Feng seems to be able to be released to the world even when he still wears the necklace. Although Gui Feng is more powerful than Gui Long, he appears to be not as arrogant as he was and shows care for his family too.
There is a possibility that Gui Feng is actually the reincarnation of Gui Long.
Xia Yu is nicknamed Shi Li Gui (勢利鬼), meaning something similar to Advantage-Mad Man, by Xia Mei, and Lao Ge (老哥) by Xia Tian, meaning Big Brother, and has at some point been called Xiao Yu, meaning Little Yu (小宇), by his dad.
Xia Yu is the alternate counterpart of Lei Ke Si (雷克斯) - both are just as good at their studies and both have revealed evil tendencies at some point. Although Lei Ke Si did not appear in the storyline, he did appear in the introduction theme, a flashback of his battle against his enemy and as an image of KO 2 on the Top Ten KO News.
Xia Mei (夏美) / Gui Wa (鬼娃)
Xia Lan Xing De Mei (夏蘭荇德 美) (16 years old), also known as Xia Mei, is the youngest child and the only daughter in the Xia Family. Of all the members in her family, her powers are least powerful. Has anger issues, and is very persistent.
She likes to use her powers to scare or electrocute people whenever she gets angry, by ripping off her Feng Long Tie partially: Ren Chen Wen often falls victim to her power of electricity.
When Xia Mei rips off her Feng Long Tie completely, she becomes Gui Wa (鬼娃 / Ghostly Doll), and scares people with Zhen Zi (貞子 - a demon from the movie Ring), a ghostlike demon with pale skin and a green glow, which she cojures with a little puppet that appears along when she transforms. It seems that Zhen Zi has been her best friend since childhood, though she is rarely seen in the later parts of the story.
Initially, she has a crush on Xiu, the guitarist in the band Dong Cheng Wei (東城衛), but later falls for Lan Ling Wang. She is so obsessed with Lan Ling Wang that she is willing to sacrifice anything for him. However, when she realizes how much Lan Ling Wang truly loves his fiancée Bing Xin, she decides to give them her full support. Including arranging a wedding for them and giving Bing Xin the wedding dress her mother kept for her wedding. In the end, she still loves the guy, but they remain friends.
She is called Mei Mei Jie (美美姊), means Big Sister Mei Mei, by Ren Chen Wen; Lao Mei, means Little Sister (老妹) by Xia Tian, and sometimes Hua Chi Mei (花痴美) by Xia Yu, meaning something like Crazy Mei.
Xia Mei is the alternate counterpart of Sha Jie (煞姊) - both are as instinctive, they act very petty and hostile against those they hate and like to express their feelings to those they love. Sha Jie does not appear in the storyline, but she does appear in the introduction theme along with Lei Ke Si.
Xia Liu (夏流)
Xia Lan Xing De Liu (夏蘭荇德 流) (70 years old), also known as Xia Liu, is the playful grandfather of Xia Tian, who literally sleeps under the house as the entrance is located under the living room table.
Removing people's memories is one of his many abilities.
His main weapon is a pair of cymbals called Ke Mo Ba (剋魔鈸), which he uses to attack and to cast offensive and defensive spells. He has also been seen wielding other weapons, such as a trumpet called Long Wen Hao (龍紋嚎) and a staff called Jiang Mo Zhang (降魔杖).
Xia Liu is the guardian of the entrance to the ghostly dimension, Mie.
This old man is stubborn, but kind-hearted. He may be senile, but he is also the most powerful member in the family. That is before Xia Tian becomes the superior member.
In free-time, he likes to hang out with his friends, Jiu Lai and Demon Hunter, on a mountain where they can be alone and discuss things.
Pizza and Zhen Zhu Nai Cha (珍珠奶茶) are some of his favourite meals.
He despises Ye Si Ren even before he married his daughter, but has learned to accept him over time, though he keeps getting angry and accusing Ye Si Ren for things that he had not done. He didn't like Lan Ling Wang at first either, but after he sacrificed himself to save their world, he starts to change his mind. He has given each of them a golden watch, saying that he only has one and "it" can only be given to someone like them, when the fact is that he has a whole collection of golden watches in his bedroom.
Xiu Liu is excellent at sewing when he is motivated.
Everyone knows him as Ah Gong (阿公), meaning Maternal Grandpa.
Xia Liu is also the alternate counterpart of Wang Da Dong's father, Wang Tian Yang (汪天養).
Other Support Characters
Lan Ling Wang (蘭陵王)
His full name is Gu La Yi Er Lan Ling Wang (古拉依爾 蘭陵王) (19 years old). He once was a trained general for the Ye He Na La family. He carries a sword from the Mojie known as Lan Ling Zhan (攔靈斬), and can use it to gather energy and produce a powerful blast called Fen Jian Da Fa (弅劍大法), which can eliminate everything within 100 miles, including himself.
When he first appears in the story, he just appears and disappears around the Xia family and Dong Cheng Wei, and was ordered to find the two missing melodies (the Soul Collecting and Soul Cleansing Melodies - 蒐魂曲 and 洗魂曲). When he challenges Xia Tian to reclaim the melodies, he hears from his minion that the young master has captured his family. Ye Si Ren then gives him the melodies, in hopes that he would be able to use them as trade for his family. However, his attempt turns to a disappointment when he finds out that his family has been eliminated. When he tries to claim revenge on the young master, he has his powers drained by a ghostly fireball and becomes a Ma Gua for a time throughout the series, until the master of the Ye family executes his plan to dominate the world, and Lan Ling Wang learns a spell from his ancestor to ruin his plan, and as result destroys the Ye Ha Na La family's power and has his powers restored, as well as making Xia Yu come into his own power. However, the side effect is Xia Xiong getting trapped in the cross-dimensional border.
In the later parts of the story, Lan Ling Wang finds out that someone had put a Seven Star Curse (七星咒) on his family six generations ago, and if he cannot lift it before the eighth generation is born, then the future generations in his family will be Ma Gua forever and become slaves of the Ye He Na La Family. But if he can lift the curse, he will gather up the energy his ancestors have collected over the centuries, turning him into Zhong Ji Tie Ke Ren. In the end, he only lifts half-the curse and remains that way forever.
According to Jiu Wu, he has the biggest chance of becoming Zhong Ji Tie Ke Ren. At the same time, they discover that Lan Ling Wang is one of the specific power-users that Xia Tian needs to find in order to become Zhong Ji Tie Ke Ren: the original power user of lightning (電).
Although he knows that Xia Mei is in love with him, he only loves one person; Bing Xin (冰心) - Han's twin sister, whom he thought was dead until Han receives her pain and cry for help. With his friends' help, he finally finds her and gets to spend three wonderful days with her. Thanks to Xia Mei's help, they manage to get married and then say goodbye to each other in the morning.
Of all people in the Xia family, Ye Si Ren is the one he respects most because he saved his father once upon a time; Xia Tian is his best friend; Xia Xiong and Xia Liu are also respected by him; and Xia Mei is the one he gets annoyed with the most.
Xia Mei nicknames him Xiao Lan Lan (小蘭蘭).
Lan Ling Wang is the alternate counterpart of Wang Ya Se (王亞瑟); both are as stubborn and courageous when it comes to saving their friends and families.
Jiu Wu (灸舞)
His full name is Jiu Da Zhang Lao Wu (灸亣镸荖 舞) (17 years old) and carries the title Meng Zhu (盟主), the ruler of the Iron Dimension. An organization called Tie Ke Jin Wei Jun (鐵克禁衛軍 / Iron Protection Team) is under his control to protect the Iron Dimension.
Jiu Wu has been famous since young for his Jiu Bu Qin Gui Shou (九步擒鬼手), which indicates the ability to find the opponent's Achilles' Heel within nine steps. No one has ever escaped this attack until he meets the father and the son of the Ye He Na La Family. He also has the ability to create force fields that prevent evil from entering.
Jiu Wu is a big-eater, and Xiong Ge's cooking is his favourite.
He has a younger brother named Jiu Lai (灸萊), who has the appearance of an old man due to his misuse of supernatural powers.
According to Xia Liu, every member of the Jiu Da Zhang Lao family was super-powerful, but they all lived short lives.
Jiu Wu believes that both Lan Ling Wang and Xia Tian have the potential to become Zhong Ji Tie Ke Ren. He can also tell that Xia Yu is no ordinary Ma Gua.
After the original power-user of thunder is revealed, Jiu Wu reveals himself as the original power user to the element of rain (雨). However, because his power is needed to maintain the force field that protects the Iron Dimension, he cannot transfer his energy to Xia Tian or go to the Gold Dimension to restore Xiao Yu's powers, who is his alternate counterpart in the Gold Dimension.
Unlike his alternate counterpart Ding Xiao Yu (丁小雨), Jiu Wu likes to talk a lot and occasionally makes up jokes that only he thinks are funny.
Ye Si Ren (葉思仁)
His full name is Ye He Na La Si Ren (葉赫那啦 思仁) (46 years old) and has the nickname Dead Man (死人). He is the ex-husband of Xia Xiong, and the owner of the pub "The Ass Pub" (老屁股), and is a very gifted musician. Because of his childishness and unfaithfulness, he and Xia Xiong's marriage ended years ago, but he still has feelings for her as demonstrated by his interference in Xia Xiong's dates. Even though he was not a very good husband, he is a very good father, and will do anything in his capacity to protect his family.
From the start, he appears as a Ma Gua to everybody, but as the story progresses, he reveals himself as a member of the Ye He Na La family as he plays the Soul Cleansing Melody (洗魂曲) to cleanse Xia Yu's evil instincts and powers. He is the one who sealed Xia Yu's powers when he was a baby, as well as giving the Soul Collecting Melody (蒐魂曲) to a Chord to save Han.
When things between him and Xia Xiong are finally starting to get better again, he discovers that Han is his long-lost daughter, and has no choice but to split up Xia Tian and Han. But when things start to go back on track, again, his father comes in and everything is ruined, again. But everything turns around in the end, and he gets to live happily ever after with his family.
On occassions, he is known as Si Ren Tuan Zhang (死人團張) to other people, meaning Dead Man Leader; his children call him Lao Ba (老爸), which translates Dad; and Lan Ling Wang calls him Da Sao Ye (大少爺 - eldest young master in translation).
Unlike the others, Ye Si Ren has two alternate counterparts in the Gold Dimension named Duan Chang Ren (斷腸人) and Hei Long (黑龍).
Xiu (脩)
His full name is Hu Yan Jue Luo Xiu (呼延覺羅 脩) (20 years old). Xiu is the leader and the guitarist in the band, Dong Cheng Wei (東城衛). His weapon is a guitar pick called Shen Feng Pi Ke (神風鎞克), which has the power to increase its master's magical abilities and produce healing energy.
Xiu has the ability to force someone to act according to his commands.
At first he thought that Xia Tian was just a Ma Gua, until he sensed his special powers, and started suspecting that Xia Tian might have the potential to become Zhong Ji Tie Ke Ren. Then he becomes Xia Tian's guitar teacher and later trainer.
Aside from protecting the universe and teaching Xia Tian how to play the guitar as well as teaching him to control his powers, he is also set on another mission: to find the Iron Dimension counterparts of Wang Da Dong, Wang Ya Se and Ding Xiao Yu, and use the counterparts to restore their powers.
Because he is usually quiet and focused, it comes surprising to people that he has a playful side.
Xiu and Han had a tendency to fight each other the second they see each other due to a genetic hatred. Later, they learn to overcome that. He also secretly develops a soft spot for Han but does not allow himself to fall in love with her because of his duty. Even when Han and Xia Tian were misunderstood to be half-siblings, he just kept being her friend. And when Jiu Wu asked why he didn't seize his chance to be with Han, he replied that he just hoped that she and Xia Tian would have a happy ending now that there was nothing separating them from each other anymore. Whenever someone asks questions about his love life, he just replies "Dong Cheng Wei only plays music, and don't talk about love (東城衛只彈琴不談情)."
Xiu is the original power-user for the element, wind (風). He is the first to transfer his power to Xia Tian as well as telling him to find the other four original power-users.
Though Xiu did not have an alternate self in the Gold Dimension, he did play a minor role in the last series of KO One where he played music with Da Dong. Only few people in other dimensions know of his band's existence.
Han (寒)
Her full name is Han Ke La Ma Han (韓克拉瑪 寒) (17 years old). Han is the girl Xia Tian met and saved from a gang of naughty kids when she was young. She gave him her hairpin as a gift, and the two became friends. After her mom died, she was abducted by evil power-users. Xia Tian has missed her since she disappeared, thinking that she moved away.
Years later, Han reappears when Xia Tian and his father are attacked by loan sharks and unwittingly rescues them (although she does hit him on the head). The next night, Xia Tian and his friends go back to look for her and he recognizes her as soon as he sees the picture that he took with her and her mom on the same day he rescued her. However, she has completely forgotten about her friendship with Xia Tian along with everything else that happened before she was kidnapped. When Han finds out that he is the boy she met and that he has a crush on her, she tells him to leave her alone, because she would never fall for him. But after Xia Tian sacrifices himself to save her, her feelings begin to change and she takes back what she said.
Unbeknownst to her, she is a Stone-Hearted Assassin (石心殺手), controlled by evil powers and is once ordered to kill Xia Tian but gets defeated by Gui Long instead. After Han failed her mission, she begins to turn into stone, but Xia Tian manages to save her with Sou Hun Qu (蒐魂曲). But she has completely lost memories about herself and becomes Xia Tian's sweet girlfriend, acting only on the feelings that she has had for him since before she lost her memory. But when she finds out that she and Xia Tian are half-siblings, she moves out of his house and starts living and working at The Ass Pub (老屁股), which her father owns.
Lan Ling Wang has a fiancée named Bing Xin (冰心) who looked exactly like her. As she starts receiving Bing Xin's visions of the past, she finds out that she and Bing Xin are twins, and later also finds out that she and Xia Tian are not siblings but were fooled by other people, which allows them to finally get back together and live happily ever after.
Han has the power to read one's mind and uses a pair of drumsticks known as Jing Lei (驚雷) as her weapons which she has transferred her soul into. Aside from fighting, she also uses the drumsticks for drumming.
Han's and Xiu's family carry a genetic hatred against each other, but they try very hard not to fight each other. Eventually, they overcome that hatred and the two families become friends again.
When Han sacrifices herself to save Xia Tian by taking in a deadly attack and accidentally transfers her energy to him, they realize that she is the original power-user to the element of thunder (雷).
She is the alternate self of the female KO fighter Cai Yun Han (蔡雲寒), who is just as independant as she. They both share the same name.
A Chord
A Chord (20 years old), the alternate self of Sha Yu (鯊魚), is the lead singer of the band Dong Cheng Wei in the show.
A Chord uses the Gui Zhan Yin Cha (鬼戰音叉) as his weapon.
He is somewhat of a funny guy, who does not know the appropriate time to talk.
He did not like Lan Ling Wang initially, preferring to let him die. But he learns to overcome that issue after everything that Lan Ling Wang did to save their world.
A Chord became the Bei Cheng Wei's (北城衛) leader after the previous leader was killed by Zack, and Xia Tian joined the Dong Cheng Wei (東城衛) as the singer.
Initially, he seems to have a thing for Xia Mei when they first met at The Ass Pub. But later on, he develops a crush on Xia Xiong for a short period of time, and it is also revealed that Jiu Wu and him were classmates in elementary school.
A Chord knows of Da Dong's existence, but it's doubtful that he knows of his Gold Dimensional alternate counterpart's.
Minor Characters
The Great Traveler (神行者) / The God of Guns (槍靈王)
The Great Traveler is the master of Jiu Wu, a very powerful warrior with very shiny teeth. He is 200 years old, but has the appearance of a 20-something year-old man. His specialty is a special attack called Shen Xing Jiu Bu (神行九步), an attack that he rarely uses, but has very powerful effects, his other abilities include Shen Xing Jiu Zhuan (神行九轉), which indicates the ability to create illusions and to alter energy movements; and Shen Zhi (神指), which indicates the ability to give people direction or information when they least suspect it, such as giving them direction to a place when they watch TV.
He and his evil half - the God of Guns (槍靈王) were legendary warriors, known by others as good friends. However, they are in fact the same person, with the Great Traveler as the good half and the God of Guns as the evil half. The Great Traveler never knew anything about the God of Guns being a part of him until Xia Tian and Jiu Wu figured it out. In the end, he sacrifices himself for the sake of the world.
The Fire Ambassador (火焰使者)
The Fire Ambassador is an executor who stops chaos and restores balance to a dimension, presumably good by nature. Whenever a dimension runs amuck, he will appear to annihilate all the evil with his power of fire. However, it would also mean that he will eliminate everything living in that dimension and makes them start over again. No one can stop him, not even a Zhong Ji Tie Ke Ren.
Before he arrives, every power-user will have a prophetic dream of his coming.
He fought Xia Tian, Dong Cheng Wei, and the original power-users in a great battle. In the end, he was persuaded by the good in their hearts and decided to leave the Iron Dimension alone, despite he might receive some punishment from his superiors.
Although the Fire Ambassador lives beyond space and time, he does have an alternate counterpart in the Gold Dimension: Tian Hong Guang (田弘光), the number one KO Fighter - KO One.
Ren Chen Wen (任晨文)
Ren Chen Wen's full name is Ren Ren Wan Nong Chen Wen (任秂完弄 晨文) (18 years old). His is a friend of Xia Tian in school, who has the power to create a mosaic around his face, and is the alternate counterpart of Jin Bao San (金寶三) who is also the follower of Wang Da Dong. They are both as stupid and self-proud.
Ren Chen Wen is killed by Xia Tian's paternal grandfather after he unawarely spoils his plan to kill Xia Xiong.
His followers are Xia Mi (瞎祕) and Wa Ge (蛙哥).
His alternate counterpart Jin Bao San did not appear in the main story, but Ya Se once mentioned that he had become Da Dong's bodyguard, making Da Dong extremely uncomfortable.
Xia Mi (瞎祕) & Wa Ge (蛙哥)
Also known as Mei Shan Lu Yong Xia Mi (槑珊麓苚 瞎祕) & Mei Shan Lu Yong Wa Ge (槑珊麓苚 蛙哥). They are both Xia Tian's friends in school, who act like Ren Chen Wen's followers.
Xia Mi is the only one who has an alternate counterpart in the Gold Dimension, Xiao La (小辣), who is also the follower of Ren Chen Wen's counterpart; Jin Bao San (金寶三).
Jiu Lai (灸萊)
His full name is Jiu Da Zhang Lao Lai (灸亣镸荖 萊). He is Jiu Wu's 13 year-old little brother. He has the appearance of a 70 years-old man as result of misusing his powers. He first appears when Xia Liu calls him for help to oppress Gui Long's newfound power collected from Mie. During free time, he likes to hang out with Demon Hunter and Xia Liu in the mountains where they discuss things, business and/or personal subjects.
He can use the ability Zhen Tian Shu (震天術) to contain evils that are not fully developed. This ability is what caused Xia Tian to change his looks of a nerd (glasses and all) to a cooler one.
Ye Si Si (葉思思)
Ye Si Ren's cousin, whose full name is Ye He Na La Si Si (葉赫那啦 思思). According to Ye Si Ren, he is the one who has the third and final melody, the Soul Calming Melody (安魂曲). He acts as the youngest master in the Ye family, under the control of Ye Xiong Ba, Ye Si Ren's father. After Ye Si Ren returns to his family to find out what his father is planning, he finds out that his cousin has become the family's personal chauffeur. When the power of the Ye He Na La family was displaced by the death of the lord, Ye Si Si makes his last appearance at his cousin's club and tells him about the conspiracy that his father made to control people. After that, he is never seen again.
Ye Si Si is the alternate counterpart of Yu Sheng De (于聖德), Tian Hong Guang's former teacher, in the Gold Dimension.
Ye He Na La Xiong Ba (葉赫那啦 雄霸)
Ye Si Ren's father, lord of the Ye He Na La family. He allowed his son to leave and marry Xia Xiong, but only because he wanted to use their children in attempt to take over the world. He had been planning for 20 years. Before finally executing his plan, he made his grandson Xia Tian go through several obstacles in order to make him stronger, and even faked his own death.
One of his many abilities is an astral projecting power called Hun You Da Fa (魂游大法), which enables him to project his soul and take control of another body.
Finally he possessed his own son and used Xia Tian's power to absorb powerful energy to rule the whole dimension and made Gui Long, Xia Tian's evil half, disappear forever. But his plan was backfired when Lan Ling Wang learned a spell to take away the energy that he absorbed, and he was killed by the impact of the spell.
Because Xia Tian's maternal grandpa doesn't allow them to call him "grandpa", he just refers him as Lao Ba De Lao Ba (老爸的老爸), Dad's dad in translation.
Xiao Long Nu (小聾女) & Guo Er (過兒)
A couple of magical doctors, and lovers. Whenever someone calls their names, they will appear immediately, even by accident. When Ye Si Ren explained to Xia Yu how they discovered he was a Ma Gua, a flashback was shown with Ye Si Ren and Xiong Ge visiting the two doctors, who were as young as they are now, which makes it seem that they have existed for hundreds of years.
Xiao Long Nu has a habit to act as if she doesn't hear anything (The Long (聾) used here means deaf).
She is mostly titled Gu Gu (姑姑).
Demon Hunter (斬魔獵士)
A friend of Xia Liu's, he is good at smelling evil, and uses an axe as his primary weapon. Xiong Ge's cooking is one of his favorites. He likes to hang out with Xia Liu and Jiu Lai during free time.
The Demon Hunter has an alternate counterpart in the Gold Dimension, who works as a school dean.
Doctor Xia Gu (黠谷醫仙)
A childish doctor who once worked for the Ye He Na La family as the professional doctor. After he met Rou Qing (柔情), the love of his life, he left the evil world to live a normal life.
Five years later, he encountered Ye Si Ren, the eldest son whom he admired when he was still working for the Ye He Na La family. Afterwards, he helped the family in need, such as medical checking and finding cures.
Fire Ant Girl (火蟻女)
An assassin sent by Ye Si Ren's father to kill Lan Ling Wang. She speaks ant language and commands a specialized army of ants. With a single bite from one of her ants, the bitten individual would be under her control. She also has another kind of ants that cause the bitten individual to act on sexual instincts.
She was captured by Xia Liu and his friends while executing her mission. During her capture, Xia Yu was the one who cared for her the most, almost making them look like lovers. She was later killed by Zack.
Her alternate counterpart in the Gold Dimension was Liang Zhi (兩指).
Vincent
Xia Xiong's boyfriend in the first episodes. He was supposed to be the owner of Tayoto, but was in fact a servant sent by the Illusionary Eye to obtain the Feng Long Ka.
The Xia siblings didn't like him at first, because they didn't like their mother dating men again.
When Xia Tian, Xia Mei and Xia Yu found out that their powers were suppressed by a demonized power-user, they tried to expose him in front of their mother. Their attempt succeeded, but then he attacked them with his spell to control others. The family was in great trouble and almost killed each other until Xiu cast his controlling spell on him and turns the event around. Vincent managed to escape Xiu's spell and went back to his master and begged for mercy. He was allowed to live, but was tortured as punishment for his failure. He was not seen again since then.
Later, Xiu revealed that Vincent was actually a traitor of his family, the Hu Yan Jue Luo family. Which explained how he inherited the ability to control others.
Bing Xin (冰心)
Her full name is Han Ke La Ma Bing Xin (韓克拉瑪 冰心). She and Han are the same person divided in two during Xia Tian's paternal grandfather's experiment to make a conspiracy; which makes them identical twins. Bing Xin is also Lan Ling Wang's fiancée.
When Bing Xin was five years old, her mother was forced to abandon her and moved away with Han. She stayed and grew up in the Ye He Na La family's mark.
The master of the Ye He Na La Family ordered her to kill Lan Ling Wang in order to prevent him from lifting the curse put upon him, but because she was already in love with him, she could not bear to do it. She was therefore killed by the assassin, Zack; Xia Tian's alternate counterpart from the Bronze Dimension.
Everybody thought that she was dead until Han started sensing her pain and hearing her cry for help, and then they find a way to reclaim her body and soul. However, because her transformation to becoming a demon was interrupted, she began to die slowly. In order to let Bing Xin spend more time with Lan Ling Wang, Han lends her energy to Bing Xin. But the method only lasts for three days. Once the time limit is up, she must return the energy to Han, or Han will die in her place. Though she is resistant to let go of her loved one, she decides to make the best of her days with Lan Ling Wang. The two eventually get married on the second day, and say goodbye to each other in the morning.
Bing Xin is the other alternate counterpart of Cai Yun Han (蔡雲寒). Though she doesn't use the name Han, the similarity is the same. Han (寒) - cold, and Bing Xin (冰心) - heart of ice.
Although it is not confirmed, there is a possibility that Bing Xin is also an original power-user of thunder.
The Illusionary Eye (幻眼)
The first antagonist for the Xia Lan Xing De family to encounter. He was formerly a power-user of the darkness, who later lost his body and just left behind an eye of illusion.
On several occassions he had tried to obtain Feng Long Ka from the Xia family in order to become whole again; first by sending minion Vincent to get close to Xia Xiong and date her, then he tried to make a deal with Gui Long to take the Feng Long Ka but failed; later he activated the Stone-Hearted Assassin in Han and ordered her to kill Xia Tian in attempt to steal it. When all of those failed, he sent his last minion to turn Xia Yu against his family by giving him a ring to give him powers and use him to obtain the object. When he realized that Xia Yu was born a power-user of darkness, he tried to take over his body. However, when Ye Si Ren came in and shows him the Soul Cleansing Melody, he ran away in fear and had not been seen since then.
He is often known as the Eye with no S.
Dao Ba Jie Sen (刀巴杰森)
A man who lacks the courage and brain. At first, he appeared to be a Ma Gua, but afterwards he reveals himself to be a power-user with lower level abilities but plays an important role in the story.
When he first appeared, he made Xia Tian owe him 700$, and has tried to go after Xia Tian to get the money on several occassions, but failed every single time. First, he was stopped by Xia Mei; Secondly, he accidentally took off Xia Tian's Feng Long Tie and gets defeated by Gui Long (that was also Gui Long's first appearance). Finally, he met Xia Tian again on the street, but this time Xia Tian gave him all of his money (though it wasn't enough) and walked away.
In a flashback, his younger version and his gang picked on little Han and took her hairpin, but little Xia Tian stopped them and rescued her (or rather she rescued him).
He also bumped into Xiu once who was injured in a battle against Han. He tried to offer to take him to a hospital and give him money to buy medicine.
After missing out in many episodes, Dao Ba Jason reappears at the Xia Lan Xing De family's house and reveals that he is Key Man, a man with the power to close the dimensional portal. In order to protect him from evil, the family is forced to let him live in their house.
When Xia Tian goes to the Gold Dimension to read a manga series that foretells their future, he finds out that Dao Ba Jason will actually be taken by evil and sacrificed to lock the portal. Everybody tries to protect him in every way that they can, but in the end, he is captured and used to lock the portal; and then becomes a statue in the process.
He is the only person who shares the exact same name and personality with his alternate counterpart in the Gold Dimension.
Faceless Peace (無臉和平)
A loyal servant of the Ye He Na La family. This man doesn't have any notable powers, but does act like a powerful butler.
This man has no eyes, no nose and no mouth, but has a white face with the word "Peace" written on it.
He supports the Master's plan in dominating the world and takes his orders very seriously.
The Gold Dimension (金時空)
Wang Da Dong (汪大東)
Wang Da Dong, nicknamed Egomaniac (自大狂) by Ya Se, is the ringleader of his school gang Zhong Ji Yi Ban (終極一班) and is also KO.3 in the Gold Dimension, and also one of the former protagonists in the first show: KO One. However, he lost his power in a fierce battle against an evil force during the end of KO One. He is the only one having a hard time adjusting the life without powers and battles and yearns for that life to return. To get his mind off of despair and dramatic thoughts, he spends more time in reading, which improves his brain's skills.
He has been mentioned in the Iron Dimension, but Xia Tian is the first person to find out about his alternate countertpart's identity, right after Xiu, who often visits them in the Gold Dimension.
Da Da Dong has Xia Tian (夏天) as his alternate counterpart in the Iron Dimension, and Zack as his other counterpart in the Bronze Dimension. His weapon, Long Wen Lao (龍紋鏊 / Dragon Tattooed Pan), has once been borrowed to Xia Tian when he needed a weapon to fight Lan Ling Wang.
Wang Ya Se (王亞瑟)
Wang Ya Se, nicknamed Narcissist (自戀狂) by Da Dong, is also KO.3, right beside Da Dong, in the Gold Dimension, and also one of the former protagonists in the first show: KO One. However, he lost his power in a fierce battle against an evil force during the end of KO One. Ya Se's initial relationship with Da Dong is not unlike that of the relationship between Lan Ling Wang and Xia Tian. Both were untrustful of each other at first, but later became good friends. He has been mentioned in the Iron Dimension, although no one knew who he was back then.
His girlfriend Cai Wu Xiong (蔡五雄) was briefly mentioned by Da Dong about the depressing feeling of losing his powers. Although her whereabouts are unknown.
Ya Se's counterpart in the Iron Dimension is Lan Ling Wang (蘭陵王). Xia Tian is the first person (after Xiu) to find out that Lan Ling Wang's counterpart is friends with his counterpart Da Dong.
Ding Xiao Yu (丁小雨)
Ding Xiao Yu is KO.4 in the Gold Dimension, and also one of the former protagonists in the first show: KO One. However, he lost his powers in a fierce battle against an evil force during the end of KO One. When he first met Da Dong and Ya Se, he was very quiet, but becomes more open after they become friends. He and Ya Se enjoy the life of peace while Da Dong has a hard time adjusting it.
Xiao Yu's alternate counterpart in the Iron Dimension is Jiu Wu (灸舞).
Duan Chang Ren (斷腸人)
A strange man who runs a food stall. He is often mysterious and whenever Da Dong, Ya Se or Xiao Yu come to visit for food and have hard time understanding things, he gives them useful advices. Duan Chang Ren's true name is Tian Hong Long (田紅龍/Red Dragon).
His most special treats are Zhen Zhu Nai Cha (珍珠奶茶) and Ba Xian Guo Hai (八仙過海). But his Zhen Zhu Nai Cha is actually milk taken from his dog named Zhen Zhu, thus the drink is called Zhen Zhu Nai Cha.
Duan Chang Ren's twin brother Hei Long is the antagonist of the series of KO One. After his defeat, Duan Chang Ren took him into an abandoned warehouse where he spends his life in.
His alternate counterpart in the Iron Dimension is Ye Si Ren (葉思仁), the father of Xia Tian.
Tian Hei Long (田黑龍)
Duan Chang Ren's evil twin brother. He went crazy after losing his powers in a battle against the KO fighters and was taken to an abandoned warehouse to live in.
He has made a few appearances when Xiu goes to ask him questions for something that only evil and powerful power-users can understand.
His alternate counterpart in the Iron Dimension is Ye Si Ren (葉思仁).
The Bronze Dimension (銅時空)
Zack
Zack is an evil person from the Bronze Dimension. Zack's alternate couterpart in the Iron Dimension is Xia Tian (夏天) while another of his alternate counterpart in the Gold Dimension is Wang Da Dong (汪大東).
Zack bears a strikingly similar appearance to Gui Long, and has been mistaken as Gui Long on many occasions. He can control the Gui Ling Yan Huo Qiu (鬼靈焰火球 / Ghostly Fireball) - a fireball that absorbs his target's energy and drain their powers before killing them with it.
He is known as a powerful psycho killer in his world.
When Xia Tian finds a way to become stronger than him, he is sent back to his dimension.
Yi Neng Families (異能家族)
The Xia Lan Xing De Family (夏蘭荇德家族)
- A family of powerful warriors, who carry the responsibilities to protect the Feng Long Ka, a family heirloom that holds the secret of Zhong Ji Tie Ke Ren, which is kept secret from the magical world. The eldest family member also guards the entrance to the ghostly dimension Mie, a dimension where spirits and demons prevail. It is one of the most reputable families in the Iron Dimension.
- Members: Xia Liu (夏流), Xia Xiong (夏雄), Xia Yu (夏宇), Xia Tian (夏天) and Xia Mei (夏美).
- Dead members: none.
The Ye He Na La Family (葉赫那啦家族)
- Centuries ago, it was just an ordinary family with special powers. But they surrendered to the darkness and eventually became a dark family. Their goal is to steal the Feng Long Ka from the Xia Lan Xing De family. To prevent their descendants from becoming demons, the ancestors of Ye He Na La created Zhen Mo San Bu Qu (鎮魔三部曲 / The Demon Suppressing Symphony) that can help their descendants get rid of their evil nature - the Soul Collecting Melody (蒐魂曲), the Soul Cleansing Melody (洗魂曲) and the Soul Calming Melody (安魂曲). Near the end of the story, this family's power is destroyed and all the remaining members are scattered.
- Members: Ye Si Ren (葉思仁), Ye Si Si (葉思思), Xia Yu (夏宇), Xia Tian (夏天) and Xia Mei (夏美).

The Hu Yan Jue Luo Family (呼延覺羅家族)
- A family of powerful warriors who use musical instruments as weapons. They have a special mission, to find and protect the Zhong Ji Tie Ke Ren. All the family members specialise in She Xin Shu (攝心術), a spell that controls a person. Because they used to be very similar to the Han Ke La Ma family, many generations in these families joined together in marriage until one of these generations caused a genetic hatred, which was passed on to the later generations. However, in the recent generation, they have learned to overcome that family hatred and become friends again.
- Members: Xiu (脩) and Vincent.
- Dead members: Hu Yan Jue Luo Huan (呼延覺羅 喚) and Hu Yan Jue Luo Tie Le Shi (呼延覺羅鐵勒士).
The Han Ke La Ma Family (韓克拉瑪家族)
- A family of powerful female warriors who also use musical instruments as weapons, in which they put their souls: this is their strongest and weakest point. - This family has sworn to serve the Ye He Na La family for eternity. Centuries ago, a curse was put upon them, and if the seventh generation cannot find a way to lift the curse, then the following generations will never be able to receive their family's powers and will be forever controlled by the Ye He Na La family. This family has almost been fully eliminated, with Lan Ling Wang as the sole remaining descendant.
- Members: Lan Ling Wang (蘭陵王).
- Dead members: Gu La Yi Er Dian Ling Wang (古拉依爾 電靈王) and Gu La Yi Er Zhou Wang (古拉依爾 宙王).
The Jiu Da Zhang Lao Family (灸亣镸荖家族)
- A family of powerful warriors who have served the protection of the Iron Dimension for a long time. Powerful though every generation has been, they had lived short lives.
- Members: Jiu Wu (灸舞) and Jiu Lai (灸萊).
- Dead members: Jiu Da Zhang Lao Pa Lai (灸亣镸荖 帕萊)
The Ren Ren Wan Nong Family (任秂完弄家族)
- A family with lower level magic. These family members are good at finding people.
- Members: Ren Ren Wan Nong Wo Xing (任秂完弄 我行).
- Dead members: Ren Ren Wan Nong Chen Wen (任秂完弄 任晨文).
The Mei Shan Lu Yong Family (槑珊麓苚 家族)
- A family with lower level magic.
- Members: Xia Mi (瞎祕) and Wa Ge (蛙哥).
Others
The Tie Ke Jin Wei Jun (鐵克禁衛軍)
- Also known as the "Iron Protection Team". It consists of 4 bands - Dong Cheng Wei (東城衛), Nan Cheng Wei (南城衛), Xi Cheng Wei (西城衛) and Bei Cheng Wei (北城衛). They work together with the Meng Zhu (盟主 / Ruler of Dimension) to maintain the safety of the Iron Dimension. Dong Cheng Wei is the Main Band of the Tie Ke Jin Wei Jun. Their mission is to protect the Iron Dimension from evil.
Terminology
- An Hun Qu (安魂曲): The Soul Calming Melody. A melody created by the Ye He Na La Family (葉赫那啦家族). Although it's known to be a powerful item, it's real potential is unknown since it's never been seen in the show. Aside from this melody, there are also Sou Hun Qu (蒐魂曲) and Xi Hun Qu (洗魂曲) (The Soul Collecting and the Soul Cleansing Melodies).
- Bai Fa Bai Zhong Gui Xin Si Jian Biao (百發百中歸心似箭鏢): A little arrow-like weapon known for flying back at the user if its time is expired. It is first shown in KO One.
- Bao Yu Li Hua Dong Ye Bu Dong Shei Dou Mei Yong Yi Neng Fan Zhi Qi (暴雨梨花動也不動誰都沒用異能反制器): A device used to neutralize all powers within the same area. Only Xia Xiong has the key to activate and to lock it.
- Bing Gu Zhou (冰箍咒): A necklace created with ice that can only be obtained every three centuries on the top mountain in the North Pole. When the wearer puts it on and calls out the words "Bing Qi Ling" (霜淇淋), it will automatically make the wearer feel the temperature of minus 600 degrees. It is first shown when doctor Xia Gu gives it to Gui Feng, and tricks him into putting it on, sealing him like the Feng Long Tie.
- Bing Qi Jing Guan Ju (兵器境管局): A weaponry store located in different places and has many special items that can be useful. The store manager is well aware of many things. When no magical customer visits, the store changes its name to hide its location. This store has also been seen in KO One.
- Fang Hu Ci Chang (防護磁場): "Defense Magnetic Shield". It is the force field that protects the Iron Dimension from outside attacks. It is supported by Jiu Wu's power.
- Fen Jian Da Fa (弅劍大法): A sword-based attack that can eliminate everything within 100 miles, including the user himself. Aside from elimination, this attack can also be used to transfer energy to another. Lan Ling Wang used it to transfer his power of lightning to Xia Tian. No spells required, just motions and the user's blood. This attack has only been used by Lan Ling Wang.
- Feng Long Ka (封龍卡): Seal Dragon Card. A mini disk, in the form of a guitar thumbpick, that stores everything about power-users. If it were to fall into the wrong hands, it maybe used to wipe out all those with special powers. The Xia Lan Xing De family is its keeper and will guard it with their lives. The guardianship has always been passed down to the eldest son or daughter. However, its current keeper is Xia Tian, the second son, because Xia Yu, the eldest son, is a Ma Gua. Later, it becomes Xia Tian's item to play Tie Ke Wu Ji.
- Feng Long Tie (封龍貼): Dragon Seal. A patch that can suppress a power-user's uncontrollable power. It prevents them from turning evil and being used by Mojie. Xia Tian and Xia Mei have had these patches since the start, but later Xia Tian lost it since he didn't need it to contain his power anymore. Xia Yu has also had this patch on his neck for a while, but lost it after his family found out that they needed another equipment to contain his power.
- Gui Ling Yan Huo Qiu (鬼靈焰火球): An energy weapon in the form of a fireball reclaimed from the world of darkness and took 1000 hours to create. It has the ability to drain the powers of its victims before killing them, and temporarily amplify its user's strength. Very few people possess this ability. It's known as one of the most valuable weapons of the dark forces. Those who manage to protect themselves from getting killed or having their powers drained are Xiong Ge, who carried Wu Feng as protection from Gui Ling Yan Huo Qiu; and a Chord, when he tries to attack with Gui Zhan Yin Cha the same time as the fireball explodes and manages to save himself. The only person who's ever held this weapon was Zack (and possibly the Master).
- Gui Zhan Yin Cha (鬼戰音叉): a Chord's weapon that attacks with sound waves, but it can only attack lower level demonized power-users and demons. It can also protect its master from harm, but just barely.
- Hei She Wu Zhi (黑色物質): Literally means "black matter." An area within the dimension where captured Yi Neng Xing Zhe are converted into demons. Nothing can ever enter this place without getting absorbed, except for Zhong Ji Tie Ke Ren. Another way of entering Hei She Wu Zhi without getting absorbed is for the power-users with the elemental powers to enter, but because they don't actually fit with the qualities of Zhong Ji Tie Ke Ren, there is a big possibility that they won't make it back to the physical plane. Its current location within the Iron Dimension is at Zhong Ji Elementary School. Xia Tian, Lan Ling Wang, Xiu and Jiu Wu once entered Hei Se Wu Zhi to save Bing Xin.
- Ji Yin Zhi Ri (極陰之日): A day that only occurs once every hundred years. This day comes with an sun eclipse that increases evil's powers and weakens the good. This day won't last for long, but while it lasts, evils can take advantage of it to become the ruler of that dimension if the ritual is performed right.
- Jin Bei Dian Long (金輩點龍): A magical fortune-telling manga series with special powers and predicts important future events, written by a mysterious man in the Gold Dimension. Whoever reads it must be pure (evil or good), otherwise it will cause the reader to have headaches and some afterward side effects. And those who read it (even those that get side-effects) dare not to speak of its fortune. Back in KO One, the first eight volumes that foretold a battle in the Gold Dimension. In The X-Family, a ninth volume was created in which foretold the Iron Dimension's end and everyone's effort prove failure.
- Jin Shi Kong (金時空): Also known as the Gold Dimension. It's the dimension where the first series KO One took place. Most power-users in that world are known for focusing their powers in their fighting skills, as most of them are unaware of their original abilities.
- Jing Dian (驚典): Xia Liu's book of terminology. It contains many information there is to know about the magical world. The book's title is actually longer, but is shortened to Jing Dian. It is destroyed near the end of the show when Xia Tian tries to open the dimensional portal and causes everything magical to lose their abilities, including objects.
- Jing Lei (驚雷): Han's weapons in the form of a pair of drumsticks. According to her family history, every generation has always transferred their souls into their weapons, making them powerful and spiritual. It is their strongest point, and their weakest point. If the weapons are destroyed or sent to a place where it cannot return, the body will collapse and die if the weapon is not returned within two hours. Aside from fighting, Han also uses the drumsticks for drumming.
- Jiu Bu Qin Gui Shou (九步擒鬼手): Jiu Wu's ability to attack his opponent's Achilles' Heel within nine steps. Jiu Wu is the user of this attack.
- Jiu Wu Xu Ni Zhao Dai Suo (九五虛擬招待所): "Jiu Wu's Virtual Service Room". A room in a separate dimension created by Meng Zhu (盟主). It can be shortened as Jiu Wu Zhao Dai Suo (九五招待所). This room is used for witness protection and secret meetings. People can only be transferred to this dimension through Shi Kong Jiao Nang. While you are living in this dimension for protection, there is really good service (good food, good entertainment, etc).
- Ke Mo Ba (剋魔鈸): A pair of cymbals used by Xia Liu to attack evils with powerful sound waves. It can also be used to weaken opponents and to cast spells.
- Key Man: Name of the man who is the key to closing the dimensional portal. He can be a target if evil forces need him to close the portal to other dimensions. Once the portal is closed, the Key Man will turn into a head statue.
- Kou Yao Zhan (扣妖斬): Demon Hunter's primary weapon in the form of an axe. It is created by several subjects. It has the power to neutralize a demonized power-user's abilities.
- Kuang Xiao Gang Lie Ba Dian Duan Jin San (狂笑肛裂８點斷筋散): The Ye He Na La family's cruelest poison, used to kill Ma Gua. This poison indicates the victim to laugh to death in 8 hours, unless the antidote is taken. It's also poisonous to power-users, but if they're strong enough, they will be able to drive it out of their bodies.
- Lan Ling Zhan (攔靈斬): A powerful sword used by Lan Ling Wang. It is obtained from the spiritual realm and therefore has special abilities, such as contacting its owner or sensing a spirit nearby. There is an instruction manual stored inside the handle.
- Ling Min Pai Bei Fu Shen Jiu Hui Liang Liang Huan (靈敏牌被附身就會亮亮環): A bracelet that glows when the wearer is possessed by a spirit.
- Long Wen Hao (龍紋嚎): A trumpet used by both Xia Liu and Xia Xiong to amplify the effect of their freezing spell.
- Long Wen Lao (龍紋鏊): Da Dong's weapon in the form of a cooking pan. It was borrowed to Xia Tian to help him amplify his power and increase his chance of winning Lan Ling Wang. See KO One.
- Ma Gua (麻瓜): Person or persons without special power.
- Meng Hui (夢迴): A power-user turned Ma Gua's retained psychic ability to see events that happened to someone else in the form of dreams. According to Ye Si Ren, it can also be transferred to another person, but only if the dreamer has a very special bond with that person.
- Mie (滅): Literally means "destruction." It is a gateway to Mojie where only spirits and demons prevail. If a human were to enter, he/she will die. If they do survive, they will never be able to return to the human world. The entrance closes after ten minutes of someone entering and will remain closed for another century if no one comes out within those ten minutes. Xia Tian and Lan Ling Wang are the only known survivors, because Xia Tian had the Feng Long Ka for protection while Lan Ling Wang was protected by Qi Xing Zhou.
- Ming Jie Ci Shi (冥界磁石): A stone that created all things. It was contained in Body Melting Pool (肉身溶解池), in Mojie, as protection from those who wish to obtain it. Only Lan Ling Wang has been able to reclaim a piece of it, because he was protected by the Seven Star Curse.
- Mo Hua Yi Neng Xing Zhe (魔化異能行者): Power-users who are demonized by Mojie, also known as demonized power-users. They are more powerful than their non-demonized counterparts. However, they are easier to defeat if you know their Achilles' heel. Evil power-users have a tendency to absorb other people's powers and use them as their own. To get rid of that tendency, the only way is to lose your own powers and become a Ma Gua. When a power-user first turns evil, his face will turn rotten and ugly, until he absorbs enough powers from others and then his face will return to normal. Another method says that they can suppress the powers of power-users without them noticing, but once they are exposed as demonized power-users, the effects will reverse.
- Mo Jie (魔借): A ring from the Bronze Dimension that enables the wearer to use supernatural powers and to absorb the powers of others when its "battery" runs out. It was given to Xia Yu to bestow him supernatural powers, but after he got access to his own powers, he threw it away.
- Mojie (魔界): A dimension where evil resides.
- Ni Nong Wo Nong He Qi Sheng Cai Zhi Zhan Huan (你農我農和氣生財止戰環): A pair of bracelets that have the power to make peace between two people for a year. If one of the wearers is in trouble, the other one will know when the bracelet loses its power. It will also lose power if the wearers' tendency to each other turns to pure love or unstoppable hate. The bracelets have a gem on the center, one black and one white. The items are eventually destroyed when Han turns into Shi Xin Sha Shou and splits it in two, thus caused the other bracelet to break along. The bracelets are originally from the Gold Dimension.
- O Yi O Yi O (喔依喔依喔): An radio-like loudspeaker in the form of a bird-statue, it spreads news and urgent information to alert power-users like a broadcasting radio. Every magical family has one. Those who broadcast are the members of the Iron Protection Team.
- Qi Lin Shou (麒麟手): A glove that Xia Xiong used as primary weapon in the early episodes. It can provide powerful attacks in combinations of other family members and cast attacking spells. The glove isn't seen again after they defeat their first primary enemy, the Illusionary Eye.
- Qi Xing Zhou (七星咒): Literally means Seven Star Curse; a curse combined with seven spells that was put upon the Gu La Yi Er Family (古拉依爾家族) (Lan Ling Wang's family) by the Ye He Na La Family (葉赫那啦家族) (Ye Si Ren's family) six generations ago. Unless the cursed family don't find a way to lift the curse before the eight generation is born, that curse will take away the coming generations' powers forever. It is the most powerful and cruel curse there is, therefore it can protect its victims from powerful attacks, however, it does not shield from harmless spells, such as slow motioning or freezing. However, its protection abilities can only be activated when the victim doesn't have powers.
- Ru Shen Rong Zhe Ci (肉身溶解池): Body Melting Pool . A pool located in Mojie. It can melt anything that enters.
- Shen Feng Pi Ke (神風鎞克): A mini disk-like weapon that amplifies its user's powers and speeds up the healing process. It shines in a golden light when it is revealed. If the user loses it, his powers will decrease. The user is Xiu.
- Shen Xing Jiu Bu (神行九步): An attack with unknown but powerful effects. The user of this attack is the Great Traveler.
- Shen Xing Jiu Zhuan (神行九轉): A powerful ability that can produce different effects. One of its useful methods is to combine with Wu Feng's power to increase someone's power. Another method is to create illusions and to transfer energy, which has been seen when Xia Tian, Gui Feng and Jiu Wu get into it and have their elements transferred to Xia Tian. The user of this attack is the Great Traveler.
- Shen Zhi (神指): A God-like ability that shows people information in places where they least expect, whether it is in a TV-screen or a newspaper. The user of this ability is the Great Traveler.
- Shi Kong Jia Fong (時空夾縫): It means separate-dimensional wall. It is a place located in the middle of dimensions, like a border between two places. If a person enters that place, he can't get out and will slowly be forgotten by those that know him and then disappear along with the rest of the dimension he originally comes from. The only way to get out is to open the dimension portal and allow the person to return. Once that person enters, everything he sees will represent his home and the people that he knows, but in the form of illusion, or more like filming stage.
- Shi Kong Jiao Nang (時空膠囊): It means "dimensional capsule". When swallowed, it will teleport the person to the preset destination in the capsule. Before the teleport begins, others must leave the room, otherwise they will also be sucked into the destination.
- Shi Kong Zhi Men (時空之門): It means dimensional portal. It allows power-users with the level of over 8000 to cross over to other dimensions. Only a person known as Key Man will have the power to close it. If it's closed, no one will ever be able to cross over to other dimensions unless you find a way to open it. The only notable way to open the portal is for Zhong Ji Tie Ke Ren to be born and let him use his power to open it.
- Shi Xin Sha Shou (石心殺手): Means Stone-Hearted Assassin. These assassins are unaware of their true identity and are usually harmless. They also have no memory of anything before they were turned into Stone-Hearted Assassins. Once they are activated, they will turn into stone regardless the outcome of their mission. So far, only Han has been revealed as the Stone-Hearted Assassin.
- Sou Hun Qu (蒐魂曲): The Soul Collecting Melody. A melody created by the Ye He Na La Family (葉赫那啦家族), which has the power to revive someone. But the user must be an expert on music and a powerful power-user, otherwise the song will kill him in the process. Aside from this melody, there are also Xi Hun Qu (洗魂曲) and An Hun Qu (安魂曲) (The Soul Cleansing and the Soul Calming Melodies). Ye Si Ren is the keeper of this melody as well as the Soul Cleansing Melody.
- Su Huan Zhen (速還針): A needle capable of killing once it plunges into someone's body. There are three kinds of these needles; the first kills if the victim gets hit by a storm of emotions while the third kills the victim as soon as it penetrates the body. The first type of So Huan Zhen only appeared in KO One.
- Tai Guan (鈦棺): A metal coffin that Ye Si Ren sleeps in while he lives in the Ass Pub. It can suppress the sleeper's original dark powers or prevent them from growing out again. However, as side effect, the coffin will cause the sleeper's hormones to increase, making him/her act out of sexual instincts. It can also protect the sleeper from outside harm.
- Tie Ke Wu Ji (鐵克無極): A weapon in the form of a guitar that only Zhong Ji Tie Ke Ren can control and use to manipulate the worlds. Others fear to speak its name because it would cause people to go insane, so they refer to it as "That Thing" (那個).
- Tie Shi Kong (鐵時空): The Iron Dimension in translation. This is where the story takes place.
- Tong Shi Kong (銅時空): The Bronze Dimension, where Xia Tian's counterpart Zack comes from.
- Wan Nian Bu Bian Xiao Hua Yuan (萬年不變小花園): No Change In Ten Thousands Years Little Garden. A little gardenlocated in an unknown dimension in the Ye He Na La family's land, specifically used for trapping people. Everything in that place never changes, people, food, flowers, etc. Things that get eaten will regenerate themselves. Like Jiu Wu Zhao Dai Suo (九五招待所), only the head of the Ye family knows how to get in. The other way to get out is to dig an underground tunnel. It can also be called Wan Nian Bu Bian Yang Guang Pu Zhao Xiao Hua Yuan (萬年不變陽光普照小花園).
- Wu Feng (烏風): A powerful gun containing 99 spirits that were killed by it. It can kill any evil, and also temporarily amplify the power of good, but it will only work if the target's heart is completely pure, meaning he must not have a single thought of evil in his mind and his heart, and combined the gun's power with the Great Traveler's Shen Xing Jiu Juan (神行九轉). This gun once belonged to the God of Guns who had full access to its full potential, but then is passed on to Xiong Ge who only has 30 percent of access to its full power. If its master is near, it will react, and if it's broken it can revive itself by sensing the presence of its master.
- WULABAHA (嗚啦巴哈): A postfix of a spell. For example, "Freeze WULABAHA" is a spell to immobilize an opponent. This postfix is required in most spells, powerful or simple.
- Xi Hun Qu (洗魂曲): The Soul Cleansing Melody. A melody created by the Ye He Na La Family (葉赫那啦家族), that has the power to strip away the powers of demonized power-users. But if the power-user ever gets his powers back, they will be different from the ones he had before. Aside from this melody, there are also Sou Hun Qu (蒐魂曲) and An Hun Qu (安魂曲) (The Soul Collecting and the Soul Calming Melodies). Ye Si Ren is the keeper of this melody as well as the Soul Collecting Melody.
- Yin Shi Kong (銀時空): In translation it means the Silver Dimension. This dimension has only been mentioned in Xia Yu's flashback when he questioned his Ma Gua status.
- Yi Neng (異能): Special power in translation. Only power-users share these special powers. They indicate abilities to cast spells, fight in enormous strengths and speeds, jog in super-speed, and various special abilities.
- Yi Neng Xing Zhe (異能行者): Person or persons born with special power, also known as power-users. Upper-level power-users possess very special and powerful abilities (although some of them may require spellcasting). If a power-user marries a Ma Gua, there are four possible results in their offsprings. First, they may not have powers of their own due to their Ma Gua bloodline. Second, the children will be born with powers, but will be unable to control them. Third, they develop powers after some time, probably because the Ma Gua bloodline suppressed their potential when they are young. Fourth and last, they are born with powers of their own and able to control them, like other ordinary power-users. The most common abilities shared with powerful power-users are telepathic communicating and super-speeding.
- Yi Neng Zhuan Hua Qi (異能轉化器): "Power converter". Convert the powers of Jiu Wu to support the "Defense Magnetic Shield" of The Iron Dimension. Power-users that fufill its requirement is also able to use it. But after the transfer, the user will lose his strength and become unable to fight or use his powers.
- Yi Neng Zhuan Huan Sou (異能轉換所): The center of the Iron Protection Team, also known as Meng Zhu's (盟主) palace. The Power converter (異能轉化器) is located there.
- Yuan Wei Yi Neng Xing Zhe (原位異能行者): Five persons born with the ability to use the one elemental power each; wind (風), fire (火), thunder (雷), lightning (電) and rain (雨). These people are also known as original power-users, and play very important roles in creating Zhong Ji Tie Ke Ren by transferring their elements to the Zhong Ji Tie Ke Ren while he is still in training. These power-users are Xiu, Xia Yu, Han, Lan Ling Wang and Jiu Wu.
- Zhen Tian Shu (震天術): The ability to contain evils that are not fully developed. The user of this ability is Jiu Lai, Jiu Wu's little brother.
- Zhi Ji Zhi Bi Bai Zhan Bai Sheng Yi Neng Zhen Cha Qi (知己知彼百戰百勝異能偵查器): Know each other's power detector in translation. A Pair of watch like device. One will be able to know the power level of another when wearing it.
- Zhi Zun Jie (至尊戒): "Supreme ring". This ring belongs to the head of Ye He Na La Family. It can activate those that have been created by the Master's experiment to create a conspiracy. This ring is eventually destroyed by Ye Si Ren.
- Zhi Zun Jin Pai (至尊金牌): "Supreme Golden Plaque". This plaque belongs to Meng Zhu. It doesn't have any powers, but when he draws it out to give orders, no one is allowed to disobey.
- Zhong Ji Tie Ke Ren (終極鐵克人): The strongest power-user in the Iron Dimension, one that holds the ultimate power. This person can travel to other dimensions and save the universe. Although there are many ways to become Zhong Ji Tie Ke Ren, the most notable method is to gather the elements of five original power-users, and to lose all of your original powers and start over again. However, that person must have the right potential to be able to harness the five elemental powers. The current Zhong Ji Tie Ke Ren is Xia Tian.

- 坎綽勱脬佤 CONTROL MY POWER 嗚啦巴哈 → 鬼控術: Helps someone control a power that cannot be controlled. This spell can sometimes be referred to as an ability. This spell has been used by Xia Tian and Xia Yu.
- 氏腮缹 DECIPHER 嗚啦巴哈 → 異能破解術: Shields the user from the spell to be controlled by others. This spell has been used by Han.
- 伊蕊斯蕊外 ERASE REWIND 嗚啦巴哈 → 倒帶刪除術: Erases the memories of the target. This spell has been used by Xia Liu.
- 飛映殤德 FILL IN THUNDER 嗚啦巴哈 → 連擊式雷擊術: Enables the user to attack with powerful thunder or fight in lightning speed. This spell has been used by Han.
- 伏擂姆殤德 FLAM THUNDER 嗚啦巴哈 → 裝點式雷擊術: Shoots a beam of thunder energy out of the user's weapon. This spell has been used by Han.
- 芣恪廝 FOCUS 嗚啦巴哈 → 專注術: Amplifies the target's ability to focus. This spell has been used by Xiu, Jiu Wu, Jiu Lai and Demon Hunter.
- 伏瑞斯 FREEZE 嗚啦巴哈 → 凝結術: Immobilize the target's motions. This spell has been used by Xia Xiong, Xiu, Xia Liu, a Chord and Xia Tian.
- 馬賽克 MOSAIC 嗚啦巴哈 → 馬賽克氣場盾: Creates a mosaic around the user's face. It is notably the least useful power. This spell has been used by Ren Chen Wen and Xia Yu.
- 謬特 MUTE 嗚啦巴哈 → 靜音術: Makes the target unable to speak. This spell has been used by Xia Xiong, Xia Liu and Xia Tian.
- 派喇笛多殤德 PARADIDDLE THUNDER 嗚啦巴哈 → 重點式雷擊術: Creates a powerful energy that attacks with thunder. This spell has been used by Han.
- 蕊德尤邁恩 READ U MIND 嗚啦巴哈 → 讀心術: Allows the user to read his/her target's mind. This spell has been used by Han.
- 蕊力ㄈ RELIEF 嗚啦巴哈 → 解除術: Reverses all spells. This spell has been used by Xia Xiong, Xiu, Xia Liu and Xia Yu.
- 蕊辟特 REPEAT 嗚啦巴哈 → 重複術: Makes the target repeat its actions. This spell has been used by Xia Xiong and Xia Yu.
- 銷爾特 SHELTER 嗚啦巴哈 → 氣場防護罩: Creates a shield around the user. This spell has been used by Xia Mei.
- 斯羅摩迅 SLOW MOTION 嗚啦巴哈 → 慢動作術: Makes the target move in slow motion. This spell has been used by Xia Xiong and Xia Liu.
- 沙氪瘖 SUCK IN 嗚啦巴哈 → 驅動魔借吸取異能: Allows the user to suck powers out of other people. This spell has been used by Xia Yu.
- 殤德雷霆 THUNDER LIGHTING 嗚啦巴哈 → 急電術: Allows the user to attack with electricity. If the user's powers aren't strong enough, this spell will not be able to kill the target. This spell has been used by Xia Mei.
- 樁緦芣 TRANSFER 嗚啦巴哈 → 異能轉移術: Allows the user to transfer his/her powers to someone else, but if this spell is used, the person will die once the powers are transferred. This spell has not been used.
- 威伏點. ZIP WAVE.ZIP → 壓縮傳音術: Allows the speaker to speak in fast speed and for the listeners to be able to understand. Wu La Ba Ha is not required in this spell. This spell has been used by Xiu, Master of the Ye family and Xia Tian.
- 降魔訣第一訣 - 北嗑土海洏 BACK TO HELL 嗚啦巴哈: Fends off the evil that attempts to attack. This spell has been used by Xia Liu.
- 降魔訣第二訣 - 鍶夸浀泆缹 SQUELCH EVIL 嗚啦巴哈: Paralyzes the target. This spell has been used by Xia Liu.
- 降魔訣第三訣 - 合臻圍伏 HERTZIAN WAVES 嗚啦巴哈: An attacking spell used against evil. Most notable for making the target unable to fight. This spell has been used by Xia Liu.
- 夏蘭荇德家族麒麟脈衝光套餐 → 一號餐分光套餐嗚啦巴哈: Used with the Qi Lin Glove to create beam of light. This spell has been used by Xia Xiong.
- 麒麟脈衝光套餐 → 三號餐聚光套餐 嗚拉巴哈: Attacks with a light bolt. This spell is used by Xia Xiong.
- 夏蘭荇德家族脈衝光套餐全家餐 嗚啦巴哈: Creates an attacking and defending force field combined with the entire family's powers and the Qi Lin Glove. This spell has been used by Xia Xiong, Xia Liu, Xia Mei and Xia Tian.
- 夏蘭荇德家族脈衝光套餐組合餐 嗚啦巴哈: Creates a defensive and offensive force field in combination with family members, other power-users and the Qi Lin Glove. This spell has been used by Xia Xiong, Xia Tian, Xia Liu and Xia Mei.
- 問候令尊令堂祖宗八代下流找人術: Allows a group of casters to summon its target by speaking its ancient language. If the first part of the spell does not work, then a language of offensive manners is required. Wu La Ba Ha is not required in this spell. This spell has been used by Xia Liu, Xia Xiong, Xia Yu, Xia Tian and Xia Mei.
- 縱鶴擒龍手嗚啦巴哈: Creates a hand of energy claws to attack. This spell has been used by Xiu.
- 攝心術嗚啦巴哈: Forces the target to do the user's bidding without being able to fight back. This spell has been used by Xiu; and once by Xia Yu.
- 變種 RH 陰性攝心術: An evil version of She Xin Shu (攝心術) that forces the target to do the user's bidding without being able to fight back. This spell has been used by Vincent.
- 夏蘭荇德家族祖傳 噩運咒 (ba le ba the wu lu wu): A bad luck bringing spell cast by Xia Liu when he tried to bring bad luck to Lan Ling Wang, but got reflected back at him by Qi Xing Zhou. This curse cannot be relieved by the person who got cursed, someone else have to help him/her to relief the spell. Wu La Ba Ha is not required in this spell. This spell has been used by Xia Liu.
- 回之術: A powerful spell used by evil power-users. It is known for having the ability to transfer enormous energy to its user, but it has to be performed in a specific ritual to be able to do so. This spell has been used by the Master of the Ye He Na La family.
- 離之術: Disrupts 回之術. This spell has been used by Lan Ling Wang.
- 魂遊大法: Allows the user to astral project and possess another. Wu La Ba Ha is not required. This spell has been used by the Master of the Ye He Na La family.
- 太虛雲遊術: The same spell that allows the user to astral project and to possess someone's body, only it is used by good. Wu La Ba Ha is not required. This spell has been used by Xia Liu.
- 神行九轉: Creates illusion and transfers energy. Wu La Ba Ha is not required. This spell has been used by the Great Traveler.
- 異能潛心術: Allows the user to transfer life force to his/her dying twin. But then he/she will be unconscious for three days, marking that's the time the life force must be returned. If it's not returned by then, he/she will die in his/her twin's place. There is no chanting in this spell, but just concentration. This spell has been used by Han.

Making of The X-Family
Although, The X-Family had a strong sci-fi/ fantasy feel, the production crew viewed it as a futuristic wuxia film. Their goal was to show the way wuxia would be when it's in the present day and in the future.[1] In the first episode they paid homage to the wuxia genre by having Xiu transfer his energy to the KO Fighters in an effort to restore their powers. This "transferring of energy" to help others is a recurring theme in The X-Family.
While working on this show, the writing team made a conscious effort to continue the comic book theme from KO One, as well as to incorporate video game elements popular with their teenage viewers. To do this, they gave almost all their Iron Dimension characters special powers and weapons that were more powerful than their Gold Dimension counterparts.[2] For example, Lan Ling Wang has "Lan Ling Zhan," a huge sword that can obliterate a city block when his entire life force is channeled into it. While, his Gold Dimension counterpart Wang Ya Se has "Shi Zhong Jian," a little sword in a rock, that merely enhances his fighting power. To show the effects of different powers and weapons, special effects were used, which tagged on additional filming and post-production time. As result, it took eight months, from September 2006 to April 2007, to finish shooting this show.[3]
The plot may be unrealistic, but the characters are partly based on the actors and actresses who portray them. In the show, Dong Cheng Wei (東城衛) is a unit of the Iron Protection Team that protects the Iron Dimension with its music. In real life, Dong Cheng Wei is a rock band started by Chen De Xiu and Jiro Wang back when they were in high school.[4] Xiu is a current member of this band; Jiro is both a member of this band as well as Fahrenheit.
Controversy
Lan Ling Wang's Costume
Days before its airing date, a wave of opposition against the show played out on the net. Taiwanese netizens pointed out the costume for the character Lan Ling Wang had a high degree of similarity to the character Cloud Strife in Final Fantasy VII [5] and blasted the network for its blatant copyright violation.[6] Executive producer Wang Xin Gui was dismayed by the accusation and denied its validity. [7]
Netizens were dissatisfied by the producer’s answer and proceeded to send petitions to boycott the show. The producer responded by issuing a public apology through Comic International Productions Co., Ltd, and stated that they were in the process of negotiating with Square Enix about intellectual property rights. It also stated the similarity between Lan Ling Wang and Cloud Strife was purely coincidental.[8] As result of the uproar, HIM International Music postponed the original soundtrack release date due to its CD album had contained images involved in the copyright dispute.[9] The show and its companion books were released as scheduled.
