This article was nominated for deletion on January 19 2006. The result of the discussion was keep. An archived record of this discussion can be found here.

The article may be salvageable, but the last paragraph in particular seems questionable. Note the name of the creator and the principal. The preceding unsigned comment was added by Mikereichold (talk • contribs) .

I took it out, so now it's the stubbiest stub ever, and shouldn't exist under WP:SCHOOL, which doesn't require much. I could do research on this, but I'm leaving the computer for now, so I just added an expand request. -- Jjjsixsix (talk)/(contribs) @ 05:17, 19 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Kind of expanded. I put up your VfD request. -- Jjjsixsix (talk)/(contribs) @ 05:42, 19 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Loudoun Seal.jpg

Image:Loudoun Seal.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 05:33, 6 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

"Controversy" section removed

I'm a student at DHS, and I've checked out this entire "all-black clubhouse" "scandal". There is no lawsuit being filed (or if there is there are no sources describing it ANYWHERE, or students who even know who is filing it). Additionally, the whole "Men On A Mission" thing is totally inaccurate; all black males were NOT redirected to a single clubhouse (barring the auditorium and gym, there are no rooms big enough to fit every black male in Dominion), or even a group of clubhouses.

Also, no works cited. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 138.88.248.168 (talk) 01:41, 10 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

maybe if you would pull your head out of your ass you would realize DHS is run by fascists trying to cover the whole thing up. a lawsuit WAS being filed and dropped when it became obvious the administration was under the protection of the school board... what with hatrick being brewers puppet and a majority of the community being brainwashed into considering this all "a rebel cry for attention" it was decided no progress could be made... notice the increased dropout rate? get an education.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.62.44.54 (talk) 05:33, 27 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please, there is no need to resort to profanity. Your opinion that "THIS SCHOOL IS TERRIBLE" is just that: an opinion. It is not fact and should not be mentioned in an encyclopedia article. Furthermore, the events you are referring too could be eligible for inclusion in this article, but you have cited nothing. You offer no proof of your claims, only your word (which by your previous actions and attitudes do not lend them to being completely trustworthy). As for an increased drop rate, would you please find available statistics to back up this claim? If you can, you might be able to fit this into the article. Until then, I do not believe this belongs in the article and I will be reporting you for repeated vandalism. Have a pleasant day. -- Johnny06man (talk) 06:02, 27 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
