Head of Brian Boitano
Remark recieved by contactpoint Wikipedia EN; --Walter 23:48, 15 December 2005 (UTC)
I just went to the article on "Brian Boitano." Someone photoshoped that picture because that's not Brian's head.
- I fixed that days ago - see [1] . Raul654 01:35, 16 December 2005 (UTC)
- Ok, thanks. It was a email of 11.12.2005 --Walter 07:45, 16 December 2005 (UTC)
What
What Would Brian Boitano Do?
Does anyone think more should be added with regard to that song? Figure skating fans might not like it, but probably the majority of the people who know his name know it from South Park.
either way, im sure he'd kick an ass or two. That's what Brian Boitano would do 24.13.56.4 21:48, 31 March 2007 (UTC)
If there's something else worth telling about the song I think it should be added, we should provide information not try keeping figure skating or south park fans happy, right?
Angular momentum
I've removed this from the second paragraph:
- That the arm is raised (and not in a tightly tucked position) dramatically increases a jumper's moment of inertia, thereby requiring the skater to exert greater angular momentum to achieve rotation, which in turn makes the 'Tano triple far more difficult than a normal triple jump.
The skater's moment of inertia about the relevant rotation axis might be increased or decreased, depending on the exact placement of the raised arm; if it is, indeed, directly above the skater's head, you would expect the latter. I'm going to assume that no one has actually measured the change in the moment of inertia, so it's just speculation. Melchoir 08:38, 21 February 2006 (UTC)
Copyright violations
At least part of this is a copyright violation (see cut-and-paste edit [2]). Also, much of this article is non-encyclopedic, focuses too much on the "Battle of the Brians", or is written in a non-encyclopedic tone. --Fang Aili talk 19:37, 17 July 2006 (UTC)
- Hmm.. actually the editor may have just been trying to add tabs. Still, this article is a mess. --Fang Aili talk 14:10, 6 September 2006 (UTC)
