Two Chester Cheetah Video Games

There is a mention of the two Chester Cheetah Video games, but no link. The two games are Chester Cheetah: Too Cool to Fool and Chester Cheetah: Wild Wild Quest for the Genesis. They are both stubs, however, and I don't know if it's worth adding them. Should there be an atempt to add them to the article? Dolace Triade 13:15, 14 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I did add them Dolace Triade 23:16, 14 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

"Get some cheetos"

The "Get some cheetos" edit by 140.247.175.126 (talk) seems to be a paraphrase of [1]. The citation for the entry says, "by Mrob harvard Jan 29, 2006". That entry and a duplicate appear to be the only thing "Mrob" added to the Urban Dictionary. Seems like somebody is trying to coin a phrase; a violation of WP:NEO. —Pradeep Arya (Talk | Contrib) 09:23, 13 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed. In addition, Cheetos does not return any matches at http://www.thecrimson.com/ which is apparently the claimed source of the saying. -SCEhardT 23:26, 13 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Genetically modified

I've removed this statement because it is not cited.

A recent study has shown that Cheetos contain the DNA of a genetically modified organism. (very likely corn)

-SCEhardT 00:53, 16 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

There is something from a little over five years ago [2], but we'll probably need more than an ancient link from CNN to justify that statement. —Pradeep Arya (Talk | Contrib) 05:20, 16 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Cheetos in Unwrapped!

I'm warth a thig the Food Network show Unwrapped it say "Cheater is Reveing to the Pink Panther.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by Takua X (talkcontribs) .

"Cheetos recipe stolen"

I saw the commercial and cheetos recipe has stolen! Kids and parents help find the stolen recipe at cheetos dot com. --RCT Locomotion Wikipedia 01:51, 3 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Side effects

I know Cheetos isn't medicine, but does it have unhealthy side effects? I ate half a bag of flamin's hot cheetos one day, and I sleep walked into my parents room and got acid reflux (or something like that) when I layed back down. Can someone tell me if eating too much of this stuff is dangerous, or if it was just an ingredient in the stuff?

You can get kidney cancer by eating to much cheetos. Cuzandor 20:55, 27 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Chester Cheetah

Isn't Chester Cheetah modelled off of the Pink Panther? 71.250.17.62 18:08, 21 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Origins?

I heard that original cheetos recipe was intended as a dog treat but instead made a tasty snack for people when they added cheese. I don't have anything to back this up. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.226.72.188 (talkcontribs)

I'm curious to know if Cheetos or Cheezies came first. The Cheezies web site only says "late 40s" but I have found some sources that say 1948 -- which is the same year as Cheetos. Unfortunately there is no wiki page for Cheezies. -- abfackeln 23:16, 3 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Types of Cheetos

Do "Flamin' Hot Cheetos con Lucas" and "Hot Dog Flavored Cheetos" really exist? I would love to try the hot dog variety but I can't find them referenced anywhere else.

Mascots

Omission of the Cheetos Mouse seems a glaring oversight.

Neverwinter Nights Game Reference Verification

I am not a player of the game so can't personally verify this, but given that the game producer is based in Canada it seems likely that the game would refer to Cheezies http://www.cheezies.com/ and not Cheetos. While Cheetos are available in Canada their place in popular culture is generally taken by Cheezies. Could someone familiar with the game provide a reference to clarify this?

Have you noticed the over sported sun glasses?I bet they got tired of drawing his eyes!

"Minimal nutritional value"

Seems kinda POV to me in that location - if not OR. Besides, it only makes me want them more. Ribonucleic 21:36, 30 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Chester Snorting Cheetos

Is the picture of Chester Cheeto sniffing cheeto powder (although really funny) innapropriate for the article's tempo? and also, what is the chili-like crap they use to make thier hot cheetos spicy? Stevo D 01:22, 13 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fans of Cheetos Paws

Anyone who misses Paws should check out the new Cheetos Mix & Move. They're a lot closer to Paws than crunchy or puffs. Kapow 05:16, 28 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I was a fan, and yes I miss em'. Thanks for the heads up PeAchBaCon 08:08, 27 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Whats this?

"Cheetos, including Hot Cheetos, makes their cheese from a pork enzyme. Don't beleive it, please call Frito-Lay at 1-800-352-4477, Monday - Friday, 9:00am-4:30pm." This sounds very un-encyclopedia-like to me. 71.81.46.119 00:10, 1 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I removed it. I doubt pork is right, but pretty much all cheese contains meat-derived enzymes so there isn't really anything of interest here. See rennet. -SCEhardT 00:21, 2 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Cheetos X and O

Cheetos Xs and Os are not discontinued!!! I saw them In Publics and in windixie a couple of days ago.Pendo 4 11:59, 6 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Size of the actual puffs

Havent they blown up over the years? Back in the early 90's when cheetos puffs were packaged in a blue and white bag, they were much thinner puffs and softer in crunch as compared to wise cheez doodles. Now the puffs are actually bigger than wise cheez doodles and much crispier. I was a cheetos puff fanatic back then, and even though I still love them, I dont like these changes. Does anyone know why they changed? PeAchBaCon 08:15, 27 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Banned in UK?

According to a UK-based company that imports US snacks for sale in the UK, Cheetos cannot be imported to the country because of "Food Standards Agency issues"[3]. Does anyone know what could this be? Ghostface1701 13:34, 4 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

New sections

Could do with more on the history and the production process, rather than just launching into that big long list of variants. FlagSteward 16:43, 1 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Phosphorescence

I just ate a bag of cheetos and was disturbed to find they are fairly phosphorescent. It's OR, so I can't add it, but an interesting note. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.116.162.162 (talk) 21:27, 9 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

New Commercials

What about the new commercials? They have a completely different Chester who is malicious and old looking. I put up the website but here are the commercials: Plane Laundromat Mr. Clean -Babylon pride (talk) 03:26, 9 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
