The list of finds should be updated by consulting a current edition of Menander.Septentrionalis 02:40, 21 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Hi, should be inserted into the article the main features of menader writing? I mean the interior analysis he does , the characters analysis and the difference between the νεα και αρχαια, the shift form satyre to psyche commedy? Should I write this if anyone accepts? --Philx 13:27, 22 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
If you can cite critics for the interior analysis of characters, please do add it. Read Wikipedia:Original research first, though. Be cautious; a play and a half is a slender foundation. As for the difference between New and Old Comedy (and these are the English terms), we have an article on Ancient Greek comedy. It should be edited; but the discussion should, largely, be there, not here. Septentrionalis 19:13, 22 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, I'll add a critic section and cite the works, but the crtics that i'll mention are italian ones, does it care? I meant between archaia and nea the difference that are founded in menander himself, i mean the changing of role of the chorus and such. --Philx 19:20, 22 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

A "menader disambiguation" would be in order. There are several other Menanders, but a "go" redirects here. Would create it myself, but don't know how.

Someone should add something about him being the one to coin the phrase, "Deus ex Machina". I would but I have no sources just common knowledge.

I have re-inserted the link to the German language website, because it is compliant with the policy about foreign-language links. One of the provisions done there is "when the link is to the subject's text in its original language", and this is the case. Please do not remove, but substitute (or complement) with an English language site containing also an English translation of Menander's fragments. Goochelaar 08:11, 11 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
