HistoryEast Linn Christian Academy has been impacting the lives of students in the Mid-Willamette Valley for twenty years. During the 2003-2004 school year school year we had the opportunity to educate 282 students representing 64 local congregations. ELCA was created to be an alternative educational choice for those families who wanted to focus on excellent academics with integrated scriptural truths. Since the first day the doors of ELCA were opened, in 1982 by founders Harold and Dorothy Grove, the Lord has touched the hearts and minds of many young people. Our mission statement emphasizes East Linn's commitment to serve parents by educating their children in a God-centered, Scripture-based, educational environment - as we equip these children academically, emotionally, physically and spiritually to serve Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Early lifeSilom was born and raised in Melboure's bayside suburbs. Born in Sandringham and raised in Chelsea, he attended St Leonard's College. Later, he enrolled at Monash University where, in 2003, he studied a Bachelor of Arts (Journalism). After finshing that degree Silom found he hard to get break in the business. He went back to university where he completed a Graduate Diploma in Secondary Eduction. CareerWhilist compleiting his Journalism degree Silom completed interships at the Sunday Herald Sun and AFL Record where he built up invaluable experince. He then stepped out on his own and reported on the hockey for Sportal during the Commonwealth Games. But Silom's major break came while doing his education degree when he started as a cadet reporter at the Myrtleford Times in Victoria's high country. His second major break came eight months later, after he saw a job with a regional television station in Bendigo, Victoria. He moved to Bendigo, where she spent the next 4 months working at Prime Television. In 2008, at 24, he joined Prime TV - Orange, where he currently works at the Dubbo bureau. OtherSilom also has a keen interest in field hockey where he has been on the reserve umpiring for the National Hockey League. In 2006 he umpired a number of international lead up matches to the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne. Personal lifeSilom is engaged to Anthea Forder, an accountant who he met through a mutual friend. The School caters for children from New entrant to Year 6. There are three well resourced classrooms, an Arts / Technology / ICT Room, a Library and an administration block. The swimming pool, large sheltered sandpit, adventure playground, netball courts and fields are facilities which are popular among our children and well used by the community. HISTORY Tauhei School opened its doors to the children of the early settlers of the district in 1909. The original school was converted from a workman’s hut and was better known then as “the shanty on the hill”. The present Tauhei School was built in 1914. A new block consisting of a classroom, working bay and staffroom was built in 1955. In 1968 the old original block was remodeled and an additional prefab classroom transported to the school. This was later purchased by the Board of Trustees and fully refurbished by the PTA. In 1969 the senior pupils began attending Morrinsville Intermediate School. The whole school was remodeled in 1992/93. In 2002 Hoe-O-Tainui School and Tauhei School merged. The playground from Hoe-O-Tainui was re-sited at Tauhei. SCHOOL CURRICULUM

"We didn’t get married in Washington because we wanted to marry there. We did it there because the government wouldn’t allow us to marry back home in Virginia where we grew up, where we met, where we fell in love, and where we wanted to be together and build our family. You see, I am a woman of color and Richard was white, and at that time people believed it was okay to keep us from marrying because of their ideas of who should marry whom." (Loving for All) Sheriff R. Garnett Brooks of Caroline County, Virginia, where the couple lived, entered their house at 2 a.m. in July 1958, took them to jail and charged them with unlawful cohabitation, on the grounds that the District of Columbia's marriage certificate was no good in Virginia. The couple pleaded guilty, and the Circuit Court Judge of Caroline County, Leon M. Bazile, sentenced them to a year's imprisonment, to be suspended if they left Virginia and did not return before July 1983 (25 years). In 1963, while visiting Mildred Loving's mother, the couple were arrested again for traveling together. Richard Loving wrote a letter to Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy to find out if Civil Rights Act would allow the couple to travel freely. The couple was referred to the American Civil Liberties Union and assigned an attorney, Bernard S. Cohen. "It was a terrible time in America. Racism was ripe and this was the last de jure vestige of racism -- there was a lot of de facto racism, but this law was... the last on-the-books manifestation of slavery in America." (Bernard S. Cohen, Quiet Va. Wife Ended Interracial Marriage Ban) On June 12, 1967, the U.S. Supreme Court unanimously declared: "There is patently no legitimate overriding purpose independent of invidious racial discrimination which justifies this classification. The fact that Virginia prohibits only interracial marriages involving white persons demonstrates that the racial classifications must stand on their own justification, as measures designed to maintain White Supremacy.... There can be no doubt that restricting the freedom to marry solely because of racial classifications violates the central meaning of the Equal Protection Clause." The couple had three children, Donald, Peggy, and Sidney. Donald died in 2000. Richard Loving was killed in a car accident in 1975. On June 12, 2007, Mildred Loving released a statement via Freedom To Marry, in support of marriage equality: "I believe all Americans, no matter their race, no matter their sex, no matter their sexual orientation, should have that same freedom to marry. Government has no business imposing some people’s religious beliefs over others. Especially if it denies people’s civil rights." Mildred Loving died of pneumonia in her own home in Caroline County, Virginia, May 2, 2008. This group is growing today, and has according to a facebook group website over 100 members.[5] The group is planning a demonstration in Finland in June against the oppression of this modern day colonial power, as the group itself describes it.[6] The self proclaimed freedom fighting group has made the news in Iceland when the groups spokesman, Anna Pála Sverrisdóttir, was quoted in Iceland's most respected newspaper, [Morgunblaðið][1], the 21st of April 2008.[7] The government of Finland has not commented on the demonstrations. Free the Åland Islands (political/legal group)This article concerns development in international law and politics concerning the right to self-determination. In April 2008, an group of law educated individuals, attending an international law conference in Washington D.C.,[8] undertook a fight on behalf of the Åland Islands demanding it's independence. The group used the chance and protested while a Nordic foreign minister was in the Capital City on April 11th.[9] The Government of Finland has not commented on the protest or the freedom fighters, fighting to "Free the Åland Islands".
The group is planning a demonstration in Finland in June against the oppression of this modern day colonial power, as the group itself describes it.[11]

Craig the King was born in an exotic island off the coast of Scotland. He was born into a poor background, his mum working as a cullery maid and his dad a fisherman. Craig grew up living a tough life until one day at the age of 14 he found a box of treasure. He took the treasure bought the whole island, freed the people from the cruel dictators of the land, bought everyone a brand new ferrari and a big house. Manoj D. Antani (b. 6 June 1954) is the current Regional Passport Officer in Ahemdabad, Gujarat (INDIA) and has served in this role since 2003. He was formerly the DSP (District Superintendent of Police) in Baruch. Mr. Antani has been the receipient of several awards, including the Manager of the Year Award in 2007 presented by Uday Kotak, vice-chairman of Kotak-Mahinder Bank. He and his wife, Bina, have 2 sons. Abraham Bowman (October 16, 1749-November 9, 1837) was an 18th century American frontiersman and Revolutionary War military officer. He and his brothers Isaac, Joseph and John Jacob Bowman were among the earliest settlers in Kentucky. His grandson, John Bryan Bowman, founded Kentucky University and the Agricultural and Mechanical College of Kentucky. His father George Bowman and grandfather Jost Hite were both well-known Virginian pioneers and were the first to explore and settle Shenandoah Valley. BiographyBorn to George Bowman and Mary Hite (the eldest daughter of Jost Hite) on the Bowman family estate on Cedar Creek (near Strasburg, Virginia) he was one of the first justices of the peace in Shenandoah County during 1772 and 1773 as well as being appointed a justice in Dunmore County, Virginia in 1774. He and his brothers arrived in Kentucky during the mid-1770s, later helping establish and settle present-day Fayette County, Kentucky. He was also a close friend of fellow frontiersman Daniel Boone. He enlisted in the Virginia militia shortly before the American Revolutionary War and, as a lietuenant-colonel, he served under Colonel Peter Muhlenberg in the 8th Virginia Regiment, otherwise known as the famous "German Regiment" of the Virginia Continental Line. He participated in battles at Ticonderoga, Monmouth, Germantown and Valley Forge. Made a full colonel, he assumed command of the regiment after Muhlenberg was made a brigadier general and led in regiment during the Battle of Brandywine. Among the Kentucky veterans awarded land grants by the federal government at Clark's Grant, Bowman received the largest with 7,590 acres. Resigning his commission in 1779, he returned to Kentucky with a party of 30 families that fall and founded Bowman's Station in Madison County, Kentucky. Settling in Fayette County two years later, he also participated in defending Kentucky against indian raids with his brother John, Colonel-Commandant of the Kentucky County Militia. He later became a prominent settler in Kentucky County being elected of the first bench of justices in Lincoln County, Kentucky and represented Fayette County in the Kentucky constitutional convention in 1825. He eventually acquired 8,000 acres six miles southwest of Lexington and later constructed one of the first brick houses to be built in the state. He died in Lexington, Kentucky on November 9, 1837 at the age of 88. He was survived by his wife, Sarah Henry, and their children. The Keeneland race track was later built on the site of his home, the Keenland plantation, amounting to nearly 12,000 at the time of his death. [13] References

Frank Pacelli was an American television director and producer. He died in 1998. He has worked on The Young And The Restless (1984-1998), The Bold And The Beautiful (1991-1992), Return To Peyton Place, Watch Mr. Wizard, and Days of Our Lives (1978-1981). He was nominated for 13 Daytime Emmys (DE) and a single Directors Guild of America Award. His first DE nomination was shared with Al Rabbin and Joseph Behar.

Revelation is the first studio album with vocalist Arnel Pineda (current lead singer of Journey) and features 11 new songs, 11 re-recorded greatest hits and a DVD of a live concert. Penned by Neal Schon and Jonathan Cain, two singles were released to radio in April 2008, the distinctively Journey-sounding "Never Walk Away" and the haunting ballad "After All These Years", both of which have now received extensive airplay on rock stations throughout the US.
The album will be released in the US on June 3, 2008 exclusively through Walmart (pre-orders and singles are available now through Walmart.com), and it will be released in Europe on June 6, 2008, through Frontiers Records.
