Thanks for waiting! Let's get started here. Malinaccier (talk) 01:18, 14 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the get well message. GoodDay (talk) 20:28, 15 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

RFA Thanks

Thanks for your support at my recent Request for adminship. And glad we could come up with a solution everyone could live with on Buckingham Palace! I hope you find I live up to your expectations. Best, Risker (talk) 14:23, 16 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Wikiproject Commonwealth realms

Hi Cameron! Thanks for the contact,

I have to say, I'm fairly pleased with the state of affairs at my RFA. I expected opposition from different users, with different reasons! So, so-far-so-good!... I have to thank you now for your support, it was very kind.... as for the status issue, sure, I will change my status if all goes well. I also plan to update my userpage then too, to include our project userbox :) Thanks again, --Jza84 |  Talk  19:07, 16 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I had noticed your coaching actually! I think u'd be a fine admin, probably certainly better than me! Not sure if you've done it before, but certainly an FA under your belt seems to put you in good standing, and I think that would help your candidature along nicely. :) --Jza84 |  Talk  19:27, 16 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
As Malleus said ([1]), an FA takes a long, long time and lots of dedication. They get easier with time though (I believe). Best bet would be to pick a topic, one you really felt passionate about and think would be a feasible article to renovate, and build it up to the featured article criteria. You're closely involved with the Commonwealth realms stuff, so perhaps ask the team what they felt would be a good one to do?
Just out of curiousity, and you don't have to answer, what nationality are you? I keep thinking I'm talking to a Canadian, but I'm not sure where I've got that info from! --Jza84 |  Talk  23:35, 16 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Re:Conflict

I replied on the coaching page. Malinaccier (talk) 22:02, 16 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I would certainly revise it. Malinaccier (talk) 22:58, 16 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, plus people definitely would frown upon copying and pasting answers into your RFA. :) Malinaccier (talk) 23:03, 16 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

RfA thanks!

RfA: Many thanks
Many thanks for your participation in my recent request for adminship. I am impressed by the amount of thought that goes into people's contribution to the RfA process, and humbled that so many have chosen to trust me with this new responsibility. I step into this new role cautiously, but will do my very best to live up to your kind words and expectations, and to further the project of the encyclopedia. Again, thank you. --jbmurray (talkcontribs) 05:47, 18 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Re:Status

StatusBot depends on whether you are actively contributing. Oftentimes, I am reading articles or chatting on IRC (Therefore I am available, but not editing) and StatusBot displays my status as Offline. Changing your status manually is much better in my opinion. Malinaccier (talk) 17:18, 18 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Malleus

Hi Cameron,

Just a quick nudge that your support at Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/Malleus Fatuarum 2 is in the wrong section!... that is, unless you meant to state you are neutral! :) --Jza84 |  Talk  11:23, 19 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

without explaining the valid reason for the removal in the edit summary.

Do you have a reading problem? Since you know, I DID leave a detailed edit summary. If you are going to template people, make sure the template actually makes sense in the context of what you are doing. --87.112.82.25 (talk) 11:41, 19 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

and what's not valid about removing original research? unless you are claiming that material was sourced and the references are somehow hidden from sight? --87.112.82.25 (talk) 11:46, 19 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
