Mediation

I have agreed to mediate the discussion in the Gilad Shalit case, if accepted by the participants. I have experience mediating in the world outside Wikipedia and have completed the Dispute Resolution Program at the Justice Institute of British Columbia, Canada. I have been a Wikipedia contributor since 2003 and have informally mediated several cases, including one for MedCab (which was concluded successfully). I have applied to join the Mediation Committee. As a mediator, my role would be to facilitate discussion. My approach would include the following:

  • Listen to all participants
  • Help formulate an agenda
  • Identify common interests
  • Identify pertinent facts/policies/research that would assist participants in forming agreement
  • Facilitate an agreement and action plan.

= Recent History Edits and Notability =

I modified history, I added a reference to the Robin Good article, from masternewmedia.org, they perform very deep product reviews of major web conferencing products, it should be a notable reference. I've created a reference section below and would like opinions regarding validity and notability. Note we are also mentioned in a Frost and Sullivan Web Conferencing publication, but the publication is private and fee based ($4500). Our V3 join development (that was moved from history to this talk page) relating to the F10 company can be found at a public URL, unfortunately, we are bound by security policies to not disclose it. arrrg. I'll have to check with legal or seek special permission for a reference on that, as the company is one of the largest in the world.

My Josh Bernstein Articles

The BOSS article was not an advertisment had the person who eleted the link gone and read the article. My other interviews with him are relevent because he had some really good points and answers to the questions. Maybe others would enjoy reading them and they are no worse than the ones already included on the list of articles about him as my articles are about HIM  :)

Hi there. I'm confused here; am I even allowed to edit this page? I have read your guidelines (although I think they're kind of hilarious, but I suppose that's natural for newbies probably). Anyway, I have had received an adoption invitation from another person (although I can't find him now). Can one have two adoptees? Also, it says in your guideline that one needs to ignore all rules? Hi there, sorry to come off as such a stalker, but I just added information about the Bird and the Bee's latest album, but I wanted to upload a picture for the album and I didn't know how to do so; how can I go about it?
