Concerning edits by Geraldunc

If his information he gives is true, it needs to be sourced. Some of the content he deleted that I contributed should not have been deleted. Much of what he wrote was unsourced and was removed. If Geraldunc would like to remove some of the bias and provide a few sources, it could be readded. Some of the stuff he wrote, in particular the budget part, just isn't true or was over simplified so it was removed User:calbear22 July 29, 2007.

Concerning changes by Garaldunc

Garaldunc recently vandalized this page. His vandalism was removed and reverted back to the previous version. His work removed sourced information and sources and added unsupported claims.

Geraldunc questions the accuracy of the East Bay Express and its writers

Geraldunc claims that the East Bay Express is not a valid source and that its authors do not source their information. Upon review of the articles, I find that the East Bay Express is a reasonably valid source. They refer to articles in other newspapers. They appear to be getting some of their information from the Secretary of State's website. He made libelous claims about the authors of the East Bay Express articles in his vandalistic actions. Google searches turned up no negative information about this publication or its authors. The information from the East Bay Express is verifiable to the point where it should be included on Wikipedia. 2007 budget

I edited the article in regards to the July 2007 budget negotiations. Previous language contained language that was not in line with WP:NPOV and was not relevant to a biography on Perata. I did keep in the fact that Perata lockdown the senate as that is a notable act, but if someone thinks even that should be removed then please do so. 2007 budget, readded part

I brought the budget part to more POV. The part about the budget explains why lockdown occurred and why Perata did not support the budget. The state budget is the most important issue of each legislative session and Perata's role as Pro Temp puts him at the center of the budget talks. His refusal to sign off on cuts to social services and tax breaks to Fortune 500 companies is a major part of his political biography. The stalled budget talks are also considered to have eroded California trust in the the legislature further, potentially preventing Term Limits changes from passing this February for which Perata is a major supporter, casing Perata to de-chair Jeff Denham from head of the Agriculture Committee and supporting the recall effort against Denham [[User:calbear22]] (talk) 18:10, 26 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Cracker comment

Perata's contentious relationship with California's legal population should be mentioned. He has been quoted as calling people worried about illegal immigration "crackers". —Preceding unsigned comment added by DotsyMe (talkcontribs) 14:27, 10 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, it's already in the article under the Controversy section.User:calbear22 (talk) 15:54, 10 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
