Members

How does a screamo band have 14 members? Someone?

                  Maybe you should listen to them and find out, they are chaotic.

From their Myspace:

"We were just a group of friends who all wanted to play music and try to make our lives more incredible. We formed as a 6 piece in the Winter of 1998 and later became an 8 piece."

I've heard from people in other bands who toured with pg. 99 that they had many more than 8 members at times. So 14 members doesn't seem too unreasonable if you give them a listen. Bungoman (talk) 09:04, 20 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I was going through my records and inserted in Document #7 was a little baseball card thing made by Magic Bullet Records and on it it says "More of a collective than a traditional band. The makeup of pg.99 can range anywhere from five to theoretically twenty members at any given time." I would take that to mean that while they didn't always play with that many people at times they did even if the people weren't actually members of the band itself. 71.170.2.224 (talk) 07:25, 24 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Darkest Hour

Some members of Pg. 99 supposedly went on to form Darkest Hour, but I'm not sure which ones. I also mentioned this on the Darkest Hour discussion page.--Relyt22 21:08, 13 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

In case anyone is reading this over 6 months late, this is not true. I'm pretty sure pg. 99 did not share any members with Darkest Hour, and Darkest Hour was a band long before pg. 99. However, Ryan Parrish is the drummer of Darkest Hour, and he was also the first drummer of City of Caterpillar who played with and shared members with pg. 99. Also, the person who did the artwork for documents 7, 8, and 12 (as well as a few t-shirt designs) did the artwork for some darkest hour albums. I met the guy once, I wish I could remember his name. Additional Album Info?

I have more information on most of their albums such as tracklists/tracktimes and pressing info. Would it be appropriate to expand their release section to include such information? I don't have online sources for the info, so that's one reason to be hesitant. Also I'm not sure pg. 99's releases meet the notability guidelines. There's a pretty big pg. 99 following still, but it's kind of a niche within a niche. I do know that to people into pg. 99 that kind of information would be relevant. But, I've never seen pressing info on any other artists page and the guidelines don't mention it so kinda seems like it's a no no. Anyone have thoughts on this? Given the sheer number of releases pg. 99 had in such a short time I personally think expanding the information a little would be a good idea. Bungoman (talk) 08:55, 20 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
