Hello! On Wikipedia, I spend a lot of time patrolling recent changes and new pages. If, while doing so, you believe I have made a mistake, please note:
  • Everyone makes mistakes, including (and sometimes, especially) me. Edits I revert, I generally revert as they appear to be vandalism of some sort. If you believe I have made a mistake, just undo my edit, and leave me a message pointing it out to me here. I'll be happy to work with you to fix it.
  • I am not here everyday. If you leave me a message and I don't respond immediately, don't panic! I will get back to you the next time I am online and see your message.
  • Finally, welcome! Please put new posts at the bottom of this page. Cheers!

Tnxmann37 join me.

Hey! What about my idea? Tell me what you think please. Neoonyalchemist 22:36 7 June 2008.

i love all access

Hi Tnxman307,

I was trying to help set up a wikipedia page for I Love All Access, a company similar to any ticketing company except it caters to concertgoers who want a good seat and pre and after show party. We modeled the page after the ticketmaster page, yet it was deleted. Generally, will less information about the company make it less likely to be deleted (so it doesn't read like an ad)? Can you help us out?

Thanks!

- Bob

Hi, I wrote my first wikipedia article today and you tagged it for speedy deletion. It believe wikipedia is a great source of information & knowledge and people should be made aware of the article I posted. It is about a nonprofit organization that help offer grants to researchers and universities conducting studies in canine cancer, which has been linked to help develop new treatments for human cancer patients. Perhaps I wrote it in a manner that made you feel it required a speedy deletion. Please let me know what I can do to fix this, because I feel this is a very important and new charity that could help a lot of animals. Denrutgers (talk) 16:53, 6 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks

Thanks for marking that press article for deletion, I was looking into how to delete it... and puff it was already done. thanks

Deletion on Digicrime

Please don't delete Digicrime. All I need is more information for it to be more clear. Marshall T. Williams (talk) 13:44, 10 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Coffee News

There was an error in the Coffee News article. Look on the discussion page of the Coffee News article to get the full scoop of what's going on. Marshall T. Williams (talk) 21:42, 13 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Firefly Mission

Paymo Time Tracker

Dear Tnxman, i see you've proposed to delete my article yet again without a valid reason. Please explain to me why we can't have a page that has a short description of our product on wikipedia while other competing products have them! I agree that this is not encyclopedia content, however if the rules were so strict all these other pages should have been deleted a long long time ago. I belive what you're doing is not fair. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ldimlight (talkcontribs) 14:38, 21 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

There are two policies that apply to your article. First of all, Wikipedia is not a place for advertising. Secondly, the article needs in-depth coverage in reliable sources. Please note that this does not include press releases or self-published material. I hope this helps. TNX-Man 14:59, 21 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I'm still not satisfied with your answer. I totally agree that Wikipedia is not for advertising. However Wikipedia is a place that helps people make decisions on what kind of software they use, thus pages like the time tracking comparison exist.
Why is this product http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Teamwork_(software) allowed on Wikipedia?
What about this one: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/24SevenOffice ?. Does this count as advertising, or it's important to know "the right people" on wikipedia for an article like this to survive? I just checked Delicious to see how many bookmarks these services have... either nothing or less than Paymo has. (these are real people who find the service worthwhile bookmarking.) Ldimlight (talk) 15:19, 21 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
If you'll notice, both of those products have won awards, which confers implies significant coverage in reliable sources. Also, be aware that other stuff exists. An article is judged on its own merits, not on what other articles may or may not be listed on Wikipedia. If other articles don't meet notability standards, that can be addressed. Your best bet is to review WP:Notability (software). Cheers! TNX-Man 15:27, 21 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please take another look now after clean up/refs and let me know what you think in the AfD. Sticky Parkin 21:39, 21 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks- I can't believe the things I spend my time on here- especially after a glass of wine. But that wasn't as sad as Macaroni soup. :) Sticky Parkin 21:50, 21 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Lol, hours of work on something that sounds quite vile. I call it tragic.:) Sticky Parkin 21:59, 21 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This is in response to my Fryette Law's article. I have elaborated and added more sources. If you can assist me in letting me know what else I need to do let me know.

Thank you for your help,

On your RfA

It's too early to say whether you'll pass or not, but I just wanted to stop by and say that you're being very mature about it all and being gracious with your opposers. Surprisingly, that's a somewhat rare quality sometimes... good luck, Der Wohltemperierte Fuchs (talk) 04:20, 24 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you

Hey, thank you for your input on my UAA inquiry about the user with the Lutheranonline name. The name was too commercial for me, hence my posting, but I am glad that you made the effort to contact the user about the potential problem. Be well. Ecoleetage (talk) 19:15, 27 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No problem. Thanks for catching it in the first place. It never hurts to have more eyes on the UAA noticeboard. Cheers! TNX-Man 19:25, 27 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, I really wanted to assume good faith (no pun, in this case), but someone calling themselves Lutheran Online while posting a URL was just too suspicious to let pass. I really hope I am wrong there. Thanks again! Ecoleetage (talk) 19:28, 27 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Userboxes

Can you tell me how to insert a user box on my user page? I tried looking on the user boxes articles but it seemed too hard to understand/too overwhelming for me. Thanks. Please answer on my talk page. Marshall T. Williams (talk) 22:46, 27 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

tnxman307 are bots a ip banner ? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Cyberdemon4 (talkcontribs) 08:45, 28 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not quite sure what you mean by "IP banner". Can bots ban IP addresses from editing? No. IP blocking must be done by an administrator who has reviewed the contributions of the IP address. Bots can report vandalism and some of them are really good at it, like User:ClueBot. Cheers! TNX-Man 11:45, 28 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
