Identified is the second studio album by Vanessa Hudgens. The album was released via Hollywood Records July 1, 2008 in the U.S.[1] and June 25, 2008 in Japan. Identified is the follow up to her debut V.

Promotion
Promotion was carried out by Hudgens giving interviews in Good Morning America, Live with Regis and Kelly,and MTV's Total Request Live. On June 24, 2008, the album was leaked full at AOL Music's album party premiere. On July 31, 2008, Hudgens started a 24-city tour inorder to promote her debut album, V and her sophomore album, Identified [2]. A second single is set to release in late September, before the promotion of Hudgens High School Musical 3 hit theaters this fall[3]. On August 23, 2008, Radio Disney had a "Pick It or Kick It" listener poll for "Amazed", which got an 80% pick. It's now been added to their playlist. "Amazed" is #82 on iTunes Top Pop 100 songs while "Identified" is #26. "Identified" also charted on the Japan Hot 100 Singles peaking at #98.
Charts
Identified debuted at #23 on the Billboard 200 charts with a sales of 22,084 copies sold in its first week, 12,000 less than her first album, V. However, It had also reached number 37 in Canada according to the Canadian Albums Chart. The album had reached #10 at iTunes Top Albums.

"Sneakernight" was the first single from the album, released to Radio Disney on April 11, 2008 and was produced by J.R. Rotem. It was available on iTunes on May 27, 2008. The music video shows Hudgens going to a house party with a group of friends wearing glowing neon sneakers. It starts with Hudgens calling her friends on her cell phone, and picking out sneakers. It premiered on Disney.com on June 13, 2008. The video premiered on MTV's TRL in July 1, 2008. The music video is #4 on the Top music videos at iTunes.
When the album was released, "Sneakernight" reached #88 on the Billboard Hot 100, and at #95 on the Canadian Hot 100 chart. [6]
The song was also featured in some commercials for the reality show So You Think You Can Dance?. "Sneakernight" was also released as a promotion since Hudgens is signed under Red by Marc Ecko."[7].
