Template:Pageant titleholder bio Yendi Phillips (born September 8th ,1985) is the winner of the Miss Jamaica World 2007 beauty pageant. She represented Jamaica at the Miss World 2007 contest held in Sanya, China on December 1. She currently holds a bachelor's degree of fine arts with a concentration in dance from the State University of New York at Brockport and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Recreation and Leisure Management. She attended St. Andrew High School for Girls in Kingston, Jamaica.

She became the first contestant to make it to the finals of all the fast track events. Of the 107 contestants, she was 1st runner up in Miss World Beach Beauty and a finalist in the Miss World Sports, Miss World Talent, Miss World Top Model and the Beauty With A Purpose Award. During the telecast, she made the top 16.

Yendi Philips may not have placed in the top five at the Miss World pagaent but according to Dimewars.com she is fifth-place on the list of the World's 16 Sexiest Black Women Alive. Actress Jada Pinkett-Smith grabbed the top spot, followed by Bad Boy singer Cassie, actress Halle Berry and singer/actress Beyonce rounding out the top five.

Yendi, who is the current host of Digicel Rising Stars, ranked higher than more popular beauties such as singer Rihanna, and actresses Gabrielle Union and Stacy Dash.
