Frumpy Opening Statement

Any article about object X ought to start by stating, "Object X is a ________ located at _______. It was established in ______ as a ________ to combat ________ (problem XYZ)." THEN get rhapsodic about the various advantages and merits. Most of us don't even know what a Kodiakanal is. It just needs a link at the top: "see main article on Kodiakanal"
