Mail on Sunday is the debut album by the American hip hop artist Flo Rida and was released on March 18 2008 via Atlantic and Poe Boy. It spawned 3 singles, the first, "Low" was #1 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 for 10 weeks. The second and third singles, "Elevator" and "In the Ayer" were modest hits as well, being Top 40 hits. "Roll" (featuring Sean Kingston) wasn't an official single, but it managed to peak at number 59 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, and number 43 on the Canadian Hot 100 due to digital sales in both countries.
Music
Production and guests
T-Pain, who laced the first single, is only one of the many featured guests throughout the album. Timbaland, who produced the second single "Elevator", is also featured on the track. Rick Ross and Trey Songz made appearances as well.[1] Lil Wayne has also been added to the list[1] with assistance on the "American Superstar" track while Sean Kingston appears on the J.R. Rotem-produced "Roll". Various other guests include Birdman, Brisco and Yung Joc. The third single is "In the Ayer" featuring Will.i.am. The fourth single is scheduled to be "Money Right" featuring Brisco and Rick Ross.
As for production, J.R. Rotem, DJ Montay and Timbaland all provided tracks for Mail on Sunday, among others.
Sales
The album debuted at number four on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart, selling 85,891 copies in its first week.[2] In the following week, it went down to number nine, selling 33,562 copies. In the third week, it went down to number fifteen, selling 27,979 copies, bringing the total to 147,432. The total sales on the week of June 10 are at 284,663[3]
