Talk:Carmageddon
usually suburban setting?
i dont think that is right... the locations are very varied, industrial, rural, beaches, big city..
- You're right, the locations are varied. I remeber there are 2 cities, a desert town, a snowy mountain town, some kind of industrial complex and one that was basically a huge mine shaft.
Funny, but not true
In many countries (including Germany and, for a short time, the UK), the game, when released, contained zombies or robots instead of people, as running over the undead was considered more acceptable by their respective ratings boards. Many zombie and semi-dead rights groups were outraged by this feature and fought to have the original content put back into the game. Unofficial "blood patches" were rapidly released by members of the community to replace the zombie graphics and sound with the more gory versions. An official patch followed, once SCi won a high-court case against the BBFC, causing the ban to be lifted.

You can get it only by "abandonware" sites, and P2P network - not the most legal way for this great game
