re: Torikaebaya Monogatari‎

From what I understand, this is similar to The Iliad or The Odyssey -- all are tales/stories that have been published in book format, but are technically not novels. However, if a novel based on the tale is in some way separately notable and deserving of an article, I would count that as under the project. That's why I removed the Novel WikiProject tag. BTW, someone questioned your assessment at Wikipedia:WikiProject Novels/Assessment, which is how I was led there. María (habla conmigo) 21:38, 19 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I would say not. Again, the concept of "novel" didn't exist eight hundred years ago, and although it may have been published in novel format since then, the article is for the tale itself. María (habla conmigo) 21:51, 19 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

February 2009

Welcome, and thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test on the page Stalinbear worked, and it has been reverted or removed. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you would like to experiment further, please use the sandbox instead. Thank you. The bear articles are cute but they are creating work for admins that have deleted them all Rtphokie (talk) 01:02, 20 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Look again. I am an admin who deleted Stalinbear; I did not create that piece of vandalism. Aleta Sing 01:34, 20 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Ruth Thorne Article

Please refer to Puerto Rico Department of Education for veracity. Speedy deletion was suggested after creator added the link to a blog. Adding this obeyed to the article being orphaned. Advertising would qualify for asking/suggesting readers were to find the books, etc. Article speaks about a very real person who has contributed to Puerto Rican letters, literary genres and is verifiable. Children's book s by this author have been acquired by the Puerto Rico Department of Education, and the Cronicas del Barrio Saga is at present in negotiations for comercial movies both in Hispanic and American markets.. Please verify. Links that may not be useful have been deleted, unless you consider they should be present.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Writersaga (talkcontribs)

I'm not sure what you are asking me to do. The article has not been speedily deleted, but the possibilty of deletion is being discussed in AfD. I suggest you comment in that page if you wish to prevent deletion. I should point out that just because a person is a real author, she is not automatically considered "notable" in WP terms. This is a topic about which I do not know anything, and I think I made the most minor of formatting changes to clean up the way the article looks. Aleta Sing 19:29, 22 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Re:Yes On Prop 2

Come on, it doesn't seem like you to do such a thing, having substantial knowledge of Wikipedia's CSD policies. Anyways, keep up with the good edits. If you wish to reply, reply on my talk page. Thanks. ...Ω.....¿TooT?....¡StatS!.. 04:27, 26 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sigh. I know, I know. I misread the page's history, believing you made the page, rather than deleting it. Forgive my impertinence. Did you get a fix on who indeed made the page? ...Ω.....¿TooT?....¡StatS!.. 04:33, 26 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Ah, I just saw that. I apologize for the false accusation. Time to gear up and try to cut down advertising, eh? ...Ω.....¿TooT?....¡StatS!.. 04:40, 26 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Quick request. Could you put the tag, "This article may be too long to comfortably read and navigate...etc" on my user page? Kind of a bit of irony. Either way, thanks. ...Ω.....¿TooT?....¡StatS!.. 02:18, 27 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Why? You can add that yourself. :) Aleta Sing 00:26, 28 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Pshh, I was busy :]. Oh well, I did it....Ω.....¿TooT?....¡StatS!.. 01:55, 28 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
<grin> BTW, I like your list of palindromes. Where did you get that humongous one, or did you string it together yourself? Aleta Sing 04:24, 28 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
The humongous palindromic sentence was actually compiled by Peter Norvis with the assistance of a computer and a reedeeculously large dictionary. Gotta love palindromes :] ...Ω.....¿TooT?....¡StatS!.. 01:03, 3 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
