Montelapiano is a comune and town in the Province of Chieti in the Abruzzo region of Italy. It's the smallest non alpine (that means, not belonging to regions Piemonte, Valle d'Aosta, Lombardia, Veneto, Trentino Alto Adige nor Friuli Venezia Giulia) comune in Italy by population [1].
