Horrible French Translation!

Hello, people! The sub-section titled "Pact with the Islamic Prophet" is a horrible French translation of a site. I think someone just put the text through a web translator and pasted the results. AWFUL!

-- I agree, I couldn't make heads or tails of it. Could someone try to get a better translation?

I fear lots of this has to be cu

This seems a partial translation for a devotional site, with most of the biographical detail cut out, and then translated poorly into english.

I believe he was a great man: it doesn't need to be said in every paragraph!

I'm gonna look at fr:wikipedia, and maybe some secular sources, add a quick bio, then I'll comment out a lot of the religious writing, since I'm not able to assess what should stay and what should go. An Islamic scholar should probably take a look and edit that part.T L Miles 18:47, 15 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I commented out (ie, it's still there) most of the text, untill someone who is knowledgable in Mouride philosophy and history can clean it up. To make it visable, remove the <!-- and --> text.T L Miles 19:15, 15 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
There ended up be nothing on fr:wiki, but a quite good bio on Mouride, which I encorporated and added a bit to. That looks acceptable for the momentT L Miles 20:00, 15 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I am a mouride myself and i know a lot about it and there is actually a real picture of serigne touba on a horse.
