Personal Life

To this date she has not dated anyone publicly. It was reported she went on a "date" with a Ron Paul supporter. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 139.76.64.65 (talk) 16:43, 22 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, as per our rules on biographies of living persons, I've removed this assertion as unsourced. RayAYang (talk) 18:04, 22 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

weight

does anyone know how much she weighs?--Tookmoved123 (talk) 00:56, 7 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

We don't normally put people's weight into articles, unless it's a direct aspect of their profession (e.g. Twiggy or John Cena). Wasted Time R (talk) 00:24, 27 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hottie

I mean, technically she is a hottie. Why are we removing this? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.196.131.205 (talk) 03:40, 21 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

How can someone technically be a hottie? Is there some strict mathematical definition of "hottie" that I am not aware of? Joking aside, a description of the subject of an article as a "hottie" isn't really encyclopaedic. Wolfrock (talk) 04:50, 21 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
"Hottie" isn't even a word, and should have no place in any encyclopedia article, except maybe an entry on slang terms used by hipsters in 1991. One could probably find bona fide sources indicating that she is widely reputed to be physically attractive...but why bother? The reader can judge that for his or her self. Libertarianism?

"McCain has also described herself as a Republican who is "liberal on social issues"." Smells of libertarianism to me. :D Just thought I'd point that out. Racooon (talk) 21:40, 26 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

As far as I know, she doesn't self-identify as a libertarian, and that's what we generally go by here when we describe people. Wasted Time R (talk) 23:53, 26 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
She opposes abortion, and she believes that both gay and straight people alike should be monogamous. Some 'libertarian'...
But as Wasted Time R pointed out, we only peg people with labels when there are reliable sources to support such labeling. The Squicks (talk) 05:00, 27 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Just because you are liberal on social issues, and conservative on economic issues (if she is even that) doesnt make one libertarian...for one, you have to be VERY LIBERAL on social issues, like government being totally hands off on not just sexual matters but also drug issues, basically no governement involvement in (victimless crimes, if you can call drug use that...which a libertarian would) and they should be very much opposed to any goverment action in economic activity...I dont think Megan is for tearing down every domestic government body.

Personally, I think that mentioning the number of twitter followers violates WP:V in the first place. We need secondary, reliable sources. The Squicks (talk) 23:02, 1 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
The article's narrative gives the figure as of mid-April. If it's increased since then and is reported by a third-party source, then a later figure can be added as well. Wasted Time R (talk) 23:35, 1 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
