Summary of Video games WikiProject open tasks:

Most information for the article came from the Mega 64 website, the first paragraph of the Premise in particular is largely taken from the opening theme sequence.

Separation

I think that someone should separate the article to have Version 1 and Version 2 in different sections. That, or make Version 1/2 articles. KSava 03:05, 27 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Does anyone kno whow to contact these guya at all? I don't get any joy on the email address on their website.

Go to the forums and ask in The Series. Rocco Botte's email is rocco@mega64.com Also you can email him asking for other people's information.

I can probably help you with some general questions if you need it, since I did music for their second season and as a result I am in regular contact with Rocco. SAColorfinger (talk) 19:43, 16 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Episode articles

There is no need for articles on the individual episodes, especially considering this is a DVD exclusive series.--Drat (Talk) 23:26, 7 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm being bold and redirecting the articles to this one.--Drat (Talk) 10:01, 15 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
There was never any consensus to remove any of the episode articles. On the Mega64 forum, where this idea started, everyone agrees it works. Every other show has episode-specific articles. There is absolutely no good reason to delete these articles.--sskento (Talk) 10:15, 15 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
This is a DVD exclusive series and is not published by a notable publisher (not saying SA isn't notable in general, it just isn't as a publisher). This is not a promotional/fan site for Mega64. In fact, there is only one independent source for this article; at least it's not a trivial one.--Drat (Talk) 11:07, 16 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I've submitted the articles for deletion.--Drat (Talk) 12:19, 16 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for trying to change it the proper way. I was thinking of a good compromise. How about 2 articles to replace the episode list AND the episode artiles, one for version 1 and one for version 2. It would just include a short summary of the DVD and the story and the extras and additional credits like guest stars. Does that sound good? I'd be glad to make it.--sskento (Talk) 10:15, 15 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

About the episode articles. Whether or not there is an article for each episode, how are we noting people who only contributed to some episodes? I'm not an expert on how the series was made, or who worked on each episode, but I can tell you that the crew was significantly different for 'What the hell happened to Mega 64?' I worked crew on that episode, and I am in it. You even see me in the trailer for the DVD. But you can't find my name here. You also can't find the name of the Director of Photography for that episode here. As far as I know, that was the only episode he worked on. That's partially why that episode is so different from all the others. How accurate do we want this wiki page to be?--Evan 06:47, 2 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I was still working on including the credits for the Version 2 DVD when suddenly everything got merged. I am planning on cleaning up both season articles later in the week when I am less busy.--Kent Lee 14:55, 2 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sources

Thus far, the only independent source is the CityBEAT article. There needs to be multiple such sources, and the info needs to be added and cited to the source.--Drat (Talk) 08:36, 23 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Picture

I think that the Version 1 DVD should be the main picture becuse it is the original work, and then there should be a separte part in the artical breifly disscussing the second DVD. Sorry about the spelling, and also I would do it myself but I have absolutly no Wiki skills. 65.103.62.98 16:18, 24 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

"becuse separte artical breifly disscussing absolutly" I'd be sorry about the spelling too! --98.192.128.248 (talk) 22:34, 25 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

my opinion

Mega64 should not be merged or deleted at all. It is obviously they are growing in popularity. They have official partnerships with youtube and ign.com
