Prostitution in Afghanistan
Prostitution in Afghanistan is illegal.[1] It was also illegal under the rule of the Taliban.[2] Many police raids have been conducted in Kabul where prostitutes from the People's Republic of China cater to local citizens and ex-pate.[3] The punishment for prostitution is death.[4]
