IMHO, the material on Hermann Hanneken should be split into its own page. He seems to be a relatively notable officer. --Dtremenak 00:08, 19 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Hanneken and spelling of Haiti

You could substitute "notable" with infamous when referring to Hanneken.

Why is Haiti spelled Haïti in some but not all wikipedia entries [accent tréma on "i"] ?? Not that there's anything wrong with that, but there seems a lack of consistency. -csd 15:26, 28 June 2006 (UTC)

He was known to have murdered many of the Intellectual class of Haitain society.
