[edit]IMHO, the material on Hermann Hanneken should be split into its own page. He seems to be a relatively notable officer. --Dtremenak 00:08, 19 December 2005 (UTC)
Hanneken and spelling of Haiti
[edit]You could substitute "notable" with infamous when referring to Hanneken.
Why is Haiti spelled Haïti in some but not all wikipedia entries [accent tréma on "i"] ?? Not that there's anything wrong with that, but there seems a lack of consistency. -csd 15:26, 28 June 2006 (UTC)
That is the French spelling, stress on the "i" when spoken. Savvyjack23 (talk) 05:43, 3 May 2014 (UTC)

Pictures of Péralte's Death
[edit]Also pictures of his "crucifixion" were paraded around Haiti by the Americans has a propaganda tactic probably to let Haitians know what would happen if they opposed the government. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.80.115.192 (talk) 04:24, 15 April 2012 (UTC)
