"Nice Guys Finish Last" is a song by Green Day, released as a single in March 1999, and appeared on their fifth studio album Nimrod. The song was the first track off the record, and was the last single from it to become a hit. The song also won an MTV movie award for best song from a movie in 1999. In the 7" Box Set, the "Desensitized" LP has the "Nice Guys Finish Last" cover on the back.

Music video

The music video features the band on a football field as a mock football team (parodying the Green Bay Packers with Green Day). They have a stage set up and in the middle, lead singer Billie Joe Armstrong is tackled by a fan, Mike Dirnt sprains his ankle when jumping, and a coach motivates them in a locker room midway during the song. This video was directed by Evan Bernard.
