Laws of Power is the tenth studio album by Three 6 Mafia, scheduled for released on June 29, 2010[1]

Background

It was initially scheduled for release on November 10, 2009, it was then pushed back to a date in March, but was pushed back again. The album will be the groups first album since their 2008 release, Last 2 Walk which peaked at No. 5 on the Billboard 200. Despite many rumors and speculation, DJ Paul has stated former Three 6 Mafia artist Lord Infamous has not returned to record for the album, in 2005 he was arrested rendering his contract with Sony Records void, the label has barred him from joining the group in regards to recording a major label album.[citation needed] Three 6 Mafia have recorded a song with the alternative rock band VersaEmerge and it is possible it could appear on the new album.[citation needed]

Juicy J was quoted as saying that he and DJ Paul were responsible for about 85% of the albums production. Other producers confirmed to have worked on the album include Dr. Luke, Kevin Rudolf, Rodney Jerkins and Tiësto.[2][3] Several artists are slated to appear on the album, they include Flo Rida, Insane Clown Posse[citation needed], Kalenna, Lamont Dozier, Lil Wyte[citation needed], Project Pat, Sean Kingston, Tech N9ne, Twiztid[citation needed], Webbie and Willie Hutch.[2][3] There is also a track that former Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash will be featured on.[citation needed]
