Dhulli is a village of Talagang Tehsil, Chakwal District in the Punjab province of Pakistan. It is located at 32°52′0″N 72°12′0″E, and lies 25 km south-west of the town of Talagang on the Talagang-Mianwali road, and is 50 km from Motorway M-2 'Bulkasar Interchange. It has an elevation of 479 metres (1574 feet) and the estimated population within a 7 km radius is 23,082.

Mr MUHAMMAD ALI SHUJA. A famous banker. in religious circles of the country, he is renowned as a speaker, naat khawn, poet. he is the only man in the known history who translated THE HOLY QURAN in poetic form in Urdu (Noor-e-Iman) and in English (The Light of Faith). This translation would be published soon. His poetic translation of the prayer in Urdu " Hay yehi meri namaz " and in English "This is my prayer" is already recited and has been learnet by heart by hundreds of young boys and girls of the area. The famous group which presented "Qaseeda burda Shareef" on the Pakistan Television with Qari Khushi Muhammad Alazhari was led by the youngsters of Dhulli village, trained by Mr M Ali Shuja. After this appearance on PTV this famous qaseeda has become famous worldwide and other naat khawns have also contributed to it in their own ways.

His naats are aired on television and now he has offers from PTV to do a reguler program on daily basis. Malik Muhammad Nawaz, ex Lumberdar and Ameer JI is also deliver Darsa-e-Quran and Dars-e-Hadith in the village and he also led Jumma and Eid Prayers in the Village Mosuqe.

Young generation keep themselves busy in Sports and among those sports Cricket is very Famous. On self Help Bases they conduct number of tournaments including teams from other towns as well. Following are the Major Teams

• Pure Ladhwal Eleven famouls known as PL Eleven Headed by Malik Abdul Qadous(oldest team of village led by Nazir Ahmed Malik, Usman Khalid Malik and Abid Nawz Malik since 1980) Faheem Zahid Malik and Hassan Mehmood Malik our little nephew Malik Nouman Umar also watching these matches this time) also took part in this team) Mumtaz Sahib was also interested to promote Cricket in the village and he also supported for this cause to Mr Nazir, Khalid) We specially thanks to Mr Mumtaz. Now he is working in State Bank of Pakistan, Islamabad we thank for their contribution. Malik Masood Akhtar, Shabbir Ahmed Malik (late), State Bank of Pakistan Rawalpindi/Gen Secy Bank Union Rawalpindi also helped to promote circlet in Dhulli. They all supported us and then we emerged as a good teams in the area.

Story of glory'' Later on Mr. Muhammad Ali Shuja arranged a team with inclusion of his brothers, (Muhammad akram. usman khalid, Naeem shahid, and cousins (Abid Malik, nazir malik etc) and some other youngsters of the village and introduced new art of cricket there, such as leg spin, and gugly. these mystery balls helped them a lot to win tournaments in talagang, akwal and other localities.

Then a new bowler joind that team and had become a real danger for the opposition, he was Malik Liaqat ali khan, came back from Qasoor. He started fast bowling in real sense with taking 20 paces in his run up. He became famous in the localities of talagang.

Then this team started playing with original cricket kit, having red Duek cricket balls. all of those things are kept safely till now at Liaquat Ali khan's home.

When they started cricket, their main batsman was only Khalid Malik, he taught Nazir Malik and then these two batsman started banging the oppositions with high targets. Malik Naeem Shahid was the best fielder and he was expert in catching the ball. Whenever ball went to trees, he was the expert to bring the ball back. His reflexes were pretty sharp. Mr Nazir and Mr Khalid was the spin bowlers. but Mr Nazir occasionally bowled a fast delivery (shooter) with in the over and the batsman never understood how to play that ball. (now this variety is being used by Shahid Afridi also).

First hat-trick : In a final match of a tournament when Nazir was bowling, Mr Qadoos was facing him, he was bowled out on the first ball. On the second ball, another batsman was caught by Khalid. Now nazir was on hat-trick. Hassan, Liaqat, Khalid, Nazir and Zubair did a team meeting and planned how to get the third batsman out. Mr Saliheen (now he is teacher) came on pitch to face the 3rd ball. Khalid told Nazir that Saliheen doesn't play openly and he ever stops the ball, so bowl him a full toss delivery, he would stop the ball and he (Khalid) would catch the ball. Nazir did the same thing, Khalid was standing only 1 meter away, he took the catch sharply. Their plan did the trick to get Saliheen out to have a hat-trick. That was the first hat-trick in the history of Dhulli by Nazir Ahmad.

Current condition

Now cricket is only being played by students and fojees who come at home to spend vacations. there are a lot of teams which are playing on daily basis but there is no professional approach. One team has been on winning track in recent tournaments which is FIVE STAR, under captaincy of Israr ahmad.

Malik Muhammad Akram khan Chishti was selected for national hockey team for U/16 level, he played there and got close eyes of selectors to be selected for England tour.

His son MOIN ALI is currently playing cricket for UBL and after a glorious show of his talent with bat ball and gloves, he will be playing for Fasil Abad region soon.

People of Dhulli are very simple in their livings. Majority of people are in Pakistan Army. People are very loving and caring. Majority of People wear Salwar Qamiz.‘Al Badar’ welfare society is playing a vital role in the civilization of the Town and Specially contribution of Malik Saleem and Malik Fida Hussain. Looking at the education sector I think the people of Dhulli will not forget the Name of Mr. Ghulam Rabani (England) who donated the Computer Lab to Govt. High school Dhulli with the Help of ‘Al Badar’ welfare Society and we are looking forward much more. In Dhulli two party system One is Mulsim League and other one is PPP. Jamat-i-Islami is also working in the village, Malik Muhammad Nawaz, ex Ameer Dist Chakwal is the leader of the Jamat-i-Islam in the village since long period. Pakistan Awami Tehreek is also working under the leadership of Malik Muhammad Ali Shuja, who is ex Ameer of dist Chakwal. Minhaj welfare society is also performing a leading role in the village.
