CS Energy is an Australia based electricity generating company Owned by Queensland Government. The company was established in 1997 and employs 550 staff.[1]

The company uses a diverse mix of fuels to operate 3,210 megawatts (MW) of electricity generating plant and has a total generating capacity of 3,660 MW. At present, the company owns and operates Swanbank Power Station, Kogan Creek Power Station and Mica Creek Power Station. Together with Callide Power Management, CS Energy is a joint co-owner of the Callide Power Station.[2]
