Appearance
Century of centuries refers to players who have achieved at least one hundred century breaks in professional snooker tournaments. The list also shows the number of seasons it took the player to compile a century of centuries and the number of maximum breaks the player has achieved.

Notes
- Ronnie O'Sullivan and Ding Junhui both took 5 seasons to reach 100 centuries, which is the shortest period of time in which this has occurred.
- Tony Drago took 25 seasons to score his 100th century, the longest such period.
- Every World Champion from 1987 is on this list with the exception of Graeme Dott, who was World Champion in 2006.
- Jimmy White is the player with the most centuries who has yet to win a world title, although he has reached 6 finals.
- Ken Doherty is the highest player on the list never to have made a maximum break, although he did miss the final black to complete a 147 during his defeat in the final of the 2000 Masters.
- Anthony Hamilton is the highest player on the list never to have won a ranking title.
