Kris Psyche Resus
Kris Psyche Resus is a fashion model and beauty queen from Infanta, Quezon, Philippines. She competed in the tenth edition of the national Miss Philippines Earth beauty pageant and was crowned Miss Philippines Earth 2010. She is expected to represent the Philippines in the Miss Earth 2010 pageant in Nha Trang, Vietnam in November 2010.[1]
Miss Philippines Earth 2010
Resus joined the national Miss Philippines Earth 2010 beauty pageant produced by Carousel Productions in a water-theme pageant held at the The Aquatica, Manila Ocean Park.[2] The pageant was participated by 49 delegates representing various towns, cities, and overseas Filipino communities in the beauty contest that promotes environmental awareness.[1][3] The event was telecast by ABS–CBN Broadcasting Corporation in the Philippines and by The Filipino Channel internationally on April 25, 2010.[4]
In the final competition of the Miss Philippines Earth 2010, she was announced as one of the 10 semi-finalists who moved forward to compete for the title. She achieved one of the five highest scores in the swimsuit and evening gown competitions for her stage chops. At the conclusion of the pageant, she won and was crowned Miss Philippines Earth 2010. She was crowned by the outgoing Miss Philippines Earth 2009 titleholder, Sandra Seifert on April 24, 2010 in Manila, Philippines.[1]
Resus is 22 years old at the time of crowning and stands 5 feet and 6 inches in height with body measures of 33-23-34. She is an Associate in Arts student at the University of the Philippines Open University, the fifth constituent university of the University of the Philippines System located in in Los Baños, Laguna. She bested 48 other candidates in the beauty contest which is focused on the protection and preservation of Mother Earth. She also won the Best in Swimsuit special award.[1][2]
