Which version?
I've moved a series of edits here from Ryan Mathews (now Ryan Mathews (NASCAR): an editor typed an article about the football player over the article about the NASCAR driver, so I had to move them to the correct title. There's no GFDL compliance problem, since the new version was plainly not derived from the old. Which version of the article should be retained: old or new? - It already had an article so you probably should have just reversed all the info the person added.--Yankees10 16:21, 15 November 2009 (UTC)
- Can you also delete this Template:For football player see Ryan Mathews. The editor doesn't know what hes doing.--Yankees10 16:25, 15 November 2009 (UTC)
Ryan's b-day
I know for a fact that his b-day is oct. 10th even though all of the sports network sites list it as may 1st. I didn't change it on his wikipedia page because of this. Can anyone help find a site where it lists his real date of birth? I am having no luck. Thanks. 98.149.221.207 (talk) 22:52, 7 May 2010 (UTC)
His birthday is in October. However, I have not found any web sites stating anything other than May, 1 either. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Cdub21 (talk • contribs) 20:16, 8 May 2010 (UTC)
Ok. When you go to Ryan's bio on sandiegochargers.com, which is one of the external links, it does not list his exact date of birth. However, it does state his age as being 22. If Ryan were born on May 1, that makes him 23. You would think the Chargers site keeps player ages up to date, especially the rookies, with him just being recently drafted. Living in Bakersfield and having followed Ryan since his early days at West, I remember reading that his birthday is October 10th. The article was about how they had won a game, against Idaho I belive, and how he went out afterward to celebrate it I just can't find anything online that confirms that. Also, on his facebook, which I know is not a source, he thanked everybody for wishing him a happy birthday, but said his b-day isn't until October. All of the sites have it wrong. I assume Fresno State messed it up and all of the other cites used it as a reference. In closing, if Ryan IS 23 right now, he would have turned 19 during his JUNIOR year of high school. That just seems a little too old to me.
