Burak Yılmaz (15 July 1985, Antalya) is a Turkish footballer currently playing for the club Trabzonspor.

Club career

Antalyaspor

He began to play football in Antalyaspor and he contributed heavily in the success of Antalyaspor in 2005-2006 season to have the second place in Division 1 and promote to Super League, the top football league in Turkish Football. Burak's career at Antalyaspor was quite a success as in his 78 first team appearances he scored 35 goals. Using his strong build, he was efficient at scoring areas.

Beşiktaş

Following constant persistence from Jean Tigana, Burak was transferred to Beşiktaş in June 14, 2006. This was where his career really hit off, scoring 6 goals in 32 first team appearances, but his performance took a downfall during 2007/08. He was nicknamed as "Tigana's Prince", wryly highlighting Tigana's unreasonable behest and patience for him. Not long after, he ultimately drained his limited credit in the eyes of the fans, the board and his coach, and was eventually sold to Vestel Manisaspor as part of an exchange deal.

Manisaspor

Burak transferred from Beşiktaş in a part-exchange deal with Manisaspor, for which Manisaspor gave Filip Holosko in 2007/08 January transfer window. Burak was a success at Manisaspor in his short spell scoring 9 goals in his 16 first team performances including a hat-trick against Denizlispor in his first match.

Fenerbahçe

On 3 July 2008 Burak was to Fenerbahçe SK for an undisclosed fee, and was presented at a news conference wearing the number 7 shirt. On the contrary to his "promising youngster" image in Manisaspor and Beşiktaş, he has been a pure disappointment during his spell in Fenerbahçe for the 2008/09 season, as playing merely 5 games, displaying quite a miserable performance.

Eskişehirspor

On 11 July 2009 Burak was sent to Eskişehirspor on loan on a 1 year +1 contract.
