Hugo Cabret is a 2011 adventure film directed by Martin Scorsese and written by John Logan. The film is based on Brian Selznick's bestseller The Invention of Hugo Cabret and stars Ben Kingsley, Sacha Baron Cohen, Asa Butterfield and Chloë Moretz. This is Scorsese’s first film shot in 3D and it is due to be released in December 2011.[1]
Plot
The film tells the tale of an orphan boy living a secret life in the walls of a Paris train station. When Hugo encounters a broken machine, an eccentric girl, and the cold, reserved man who runs the toy shop, he is caught up in a magical, mysterious adventure that could put all of his secrets in jeopardy.[1]

Production
GK Films acquired the screen rights to The Invention of Hugo Cabret shortly after the book was published in 2007. Hugo Cabret will be filmed at London’s Shepperton Studios as well as on locations in London and Paris.[1]
