Dear Sir/Madam,

I would like to add an image for the article I am creating about firstinitiative.org. It will be FIRST logo that you can find on the external web-site (blue circle). Thank you very much in advance. Okrushelnytska (talk) 20:45, 21 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I would be obliged if you could give me permission to upload images to pages. I can assure you the images won't be improper in any way, and while I don't know about the copyrights for each picture, info here on Wikipedia says that we learn that info about a pic when we try to upload it so that we don't upload anything copyrighted. There are so many topic-pages I'm interested in and would like to share a pic or two on because some don't even have one pic. Could you please give me permission to do so? I would like to upload an image for a local Mississippi politician, as they currently do not have one. CTCMSouthern (talk) 18:05, 17 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Could you be more specific? Also, if you're uploading a free image, you should upload it to Wikimedia Commons instead so t can be shared by all Wikimedia projects. Thanks, HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 20:04, 17 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I would like to be able to upload an image for the page Jan C. Garavaglia who is an associate and friend of mine. Tinydancer85 (talk) 19:29, 24 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Do you own the rights to the image? Will you be releasing it under a suitably free license? If the answer to both these questions is yes, please upload the image to commons:commons:Upload. If the answer to either question is no, then we cannot accept the image. –xenotalk 19:32, 24 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Greetings,

I am a seminary student. For one of our assignments we are to be graded based on how well we can update Wikipedia articles based on our theological studies, particularly as it pertains to the Old Testament. These edits for assignments would be the only reasons for me to edit on Wikipedia, and therefore I will not be getting up to the auto-confirmed status before our first publishing is due.

I am wishing to edit the article "Satan." I only wish to give a more accurate portrayal of the satan, or hasastan, of the old testament. This will be focussed for this edit to how satan is portrayed in the book of Job.

Please grant me confirmed status so that I may edit this page for a grade within the time restraints put upon the assignment. I can guarantee that the edit well be well referenced and unbiased.

Sincerely,

nj mo1nathan

Bearing in mind that that article has been protected due to vandalism and is among the most high-profile articles on Wikipedia, could you tell me what specific edits you would like to make to the article? HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 04:10, 26 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I am planning to update the paragraph on Job under the Hebrew Bible heading. I wish to update the ideas of Hasatan as it pertains to God and give a clearer understanding on what Hasatans role was. I have not actually written up the paragraph yet, but that is pretty much the gist of what I am planning. At this time I will not be touching anything but that particular paragraph on Job.

I am a frequent visitor to wikipedia, though I am not regularly logged in. I rarely attempt to make edits, and so the 10 threshold for auto-confirm is not really reasonable. I am currently requesting the confirmed flag because I would like to be able to edit semi-protected articles, in general, and more specifically the Masturbation article (I assure you I have pure intentions). As I said before, I rarely edit, so taking the time to reached the auto-confirm benchmark would realistic, other than simply editing a page, then re-editing it to undo my edit. I do not wish to abuse the site like that, hence I make my request now.

Thank you LogosDiablo (talk) 02:20, 27 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Request to be confirmed so image upload and article creation accessible. As an owner of a franchise location, an officer in an advertising co-op, a coordinator for a independent franchisee association, and about 8 years experience/education working with small businesses - I believe I have the necessary knowledge, resources, and experience to accurately contribute to items on wikipedia in this area.
