Maybe the best thing to do is to write about the demographics at the geography chapter? (Rob)

I am working on a map of Shenyang city, but on the reverse side of my source map is a map of Liaoning province, so I will start on that next.

The going is slow, as my source maps are labeled with Simplified Chinese, and I have to translate a character at a time into the Pinyin romanizations. (The Pinyin article has some great external links that I am using to help automate the process.)

If anyone wants to help with the translation of my Liaoning source map, please let me know and I will be happy to send you a high-resolution scan that you can use to help out. --DV 13:44, 31 Oct 2004 (UTC)

Quick Facts?

This tacky little section reads like a guidebook and is really not appropriate for an encyclopedia. All of the information can be integrated into the article and much of it is already included in the right-hand information panel, which is where any such 'quick facts' should be.
