Equals Three (=3) is a popular biweekly webshow hosted by YouTube user Ray William Johnson on the video-sharing website YouTube under the channel name RayWilliamJohnson. Each episode usually features three videos, either already popular or obscure. The show is well-known for its abuse of abundant Internet memes. As of 2010 it is the second most subscribed channel on youtube behind nigahiga. It is usually among the most watched videos weekly on YouTube.[2]

Content

An Equals Three episode usually comes out twice a week, originally every Monday and Friday (now Thursday). An average episode features three different viral video clips, usually from YouTube or Fail Blog. After making attempts at comedic commentary on the videos, Ray offers a comment question of the day, which can be answered using the comment section beneath the video, Facebook, or Twitter. Selected comments from the last question of the day are shown at the end of the next video, accompanied by a musical selection, either from one of the videos or Stalkin' Your Mom, performed by the independent YouTube musician Wax.[1]
