"Who's That Chick?"
Song

"Who's That Chick?" is a song by French disc jockey David Guetta featuring vocals from Barbadian recording artist Rihanna. It was released as a digital download on 22 November 2010 and serves as the lead single from the re-release of Guetta's fourth album, One Love. "Who's That Chick?" is being used to promote the new 'Late Night' snacks range from snack company, Doritos. Two music videos were filmed: one depicting Rihanna during the day, the other depicting Rihanna during the night. Both feature the same scenes and camera angles but different make-up, costumes and lighting.

Background

In early 2010, David Guetta previewed "Who's That Chick?" on a French radio station but did not go into much detail about the song.[2] Later in the year, the song was confirmed as the lead single to be taken from Guetta's upcoming re-release of the album One Love, titled One More Love.[3] It was released as a digital download internationally on 22 November 2010 and in the United Kingdom on 28 November 2010.[4]

Music video

The music video was used to promote Doritos’ global music event, 'Late Night'.[5] There are two versions of the video: day and night,[6] which were both officially made available on October 15, 2010.[citation needed] In the day version, Rihanna is in a rainbow fantasy and in the night, in a gothic nightmare. Both of the clips were directed by Jonas Åkerlund.[7] Despite being the producer of the song, David Guetta does not appear in the video.[8]
