Final Resolution is an annual professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event held by Total Nonstop Action Wrestling in the month of December. The event was originally scheduled to take place every January until 2008, when TNA moved the event to December of that year, meaning two Final Resolution's took place in 2008.

Zone in Orlando, Florida. It was the second event under the Final Resolution chronology. Nine professional wrestling matches were featured on the event's card.

Pre-Show match: Team Canada (Petey Williams, Eric Young, and A-1) defeated Lance Hoyt, Jay Lethal, and Kenny King (05:54)
- Williams pinned Lethal after a Canadian Destroyer.
Pre-Show match: The Latin American Exchange (Homicide and Konnan) defeated The Naturals (Andy Douglas and Chase Stevens) (03:50)
- Homicide pinned Stevens after Konnan hit Stevens with a Slapjack.
Alex Shelley, Austin Aries, and Roderick Strong defeated Chris Sabin, Matt Bentley, and Sonjay Dutt (with Traci) (10:31)
- Shelley pinned Bentley with a Small Package.
The James Gang (Kip James and B.G. James) defeated The Diamonds in the Rough (David Young and Elix Skipper) (with Simon Diamond) (07:47)
- Kip pinned Skipper after a Cobra Clutch Slam.
A.J. Styles defeated Hiroshi Tanahashi (11:03)
- Styles pinned Tanahashi after a Styles Clash.
- During the match, Shannon Moore ran in and attempted to hit Styles with Styles's "Mr. TNA" plaque but accidentally hit Tanahashi.
Sean Waltman defeated Raven in a Raven's Rules match (8:06)
- Waltman pinned Raven after an X-Factor off a ladder through a table. Larry Zbyszko made the count after the referee got knocked out, and ignored Raven's foot on the ropes during the deciding pinfall.
- As a result of losing, Raven was fired from TNA.
Bobby Roode (with Coach D'Amore) defeated Ron Killings (9:49)
- Roode pinned Killings after a Northern Lariat when Konnan distracted him.
Abyss (with James Mitchell) defeated Rhino (09:18)
- Abyss pinned Rhino after a Black Hole Slam onto a steel chair.
America's Most Wanted (Chris Harris and James Storm) (with Gail Kim) defeated Team 3D (Brother Ray and Brother Devon) to retain the NWA World Tag Team Championship (12:43)
- Harris pinned Ray after a DDT.
- Ray had pinned Harris but the referee was blinded when he made the pin, Team Canada ran in afterwards and laid out Team 3D and put Harris on top of Ray. When the referee's sight returned he saw Harris on top of Ray and awarded AMW the match.
Samoa Joe (c) defeated Christopher Daniels to retain the TNA X Division Championship (15:33)
- Joe won by forfeit when A.J. Styles came out and threw in the towel to stop Joe from attacking an unconscious Daniels.
Sting and Christian Cage defeated Jeff Jarrett and Monty Brown (15:05)
- Sting pinned Jarrett after a Scorpion Death Drop.

Zone in Orlando, Florida. It was the third event under the Final Resolution chronology. Seven professional wrestling matches were featured on the event's card.

Dark match: Jason Riggs and Johnny Riggs defeated Serotonin (Kazarian and Havok)
- Riggs pinned Havok.
Pre-Show match: Lance Hoyt defeated Chase Stevens (02:04)
- Hoyt pinned Stevens after a Fireman's Carry Flapjack.
- A.J. Pierzynski and Dale Torborg were in the audience and heckled Hoyt resulting in a confrontation after the match.
Rhino defeated A.J. Styles in a Last Man Standing match (14:44)
- Styles failed to answer the ten-count after Rhino hit 2 Gore's.
Chris Sabin defeated Christopher Daniels (c) and Jerry Lynn in a 3-Way Dance to win the TNA X Division Championship (11:42)
- Sabin pinned Lynn with a roll-up while grabbing the tights.
Paparazzi Championship Series finals: Alex Shelley defeated Austin Starr (10:18)
- The judges were "Samolian Joe", "Big Fat Oily Guy" and Bob Backlund.
- The match originally went to a ten minute time limit draw and was then declared a draw by the judges, before Kevin Nash ordered an extra time.
- Shelley pinned Starr with a roll-up, and Shelley was presented a bowling trophy.
James Storm (with Gail Kim) defeated Petey Williams (06:41)
- Storm pinned Williams while grabbing the ropes during a roll-up.
- Jacqueline made her return to TNA and delivered a Death Sentence with Storm to Kim.
The Latin American Exchange (Homicide and Hernandez) (c) defeated Team 3D (Brother Ray and Brother Devon) by disqualification to retain the NWA World Tag Team Championship (10:40)
- Team 3D were disqualified after a drunk Brother Runt interfered, jumping off the top rope onto Homicide.
Kurt Angle defeated Samoa Joe 3-2 in an Iron Man match (30:00)
- Joe forced Angle to submit to the Coquina Clutch (12:54)
- Angle forced Joe to submit to the Ankle Lock (16:03)
- Angle forced Joe to submit to the Ankle Lock (18:56)
- Joe pinned Angle after a Muscle Buster (22:19)
- Angle pinned Joe with a cradle pin to win a shot at the NWA World Heavyweight Championship at Against All Odds. (24:41)
Christian Cage defeated Abyss (c) (with James Mitchell) and Sting in a Three Way Elimination match to win the NWA World Heavyweight Championship (13:06)

Zone in Orlando, Florida. It was the fourth event under the Final Resolution chronology, and the first of two Final Resolution events in 2008. The Latin American Xchange (Homicide and Hernandez) defeated The Rock 'n Rave Infection (Lance Hoyt and Jimmy Rave) (with Christy Hemme) (06:48)
- Hernandez pinned Rave after a Border Toss from the middle rope.
- After the match, the masked member of the Latino Nation, who had attacked Christy Hemme in the weeks leading up to the pay-per-view, gave Hoyt a low blow and revealed herself as Shelly Martinez.
Kaz defeated Black Reign (07:28)
- Kaz pinned Reign after a Wave of the Future.
Gail Kim (c) defeated Awesome Kong in a No Disqualification match to retain the TNA Women's World Championship (12:44)
- Kim pinned Kong with a school girl.
Judas Mesias (with Father James Mitchell) defeated Abyss (11:03)
- Mesias pinned Abyss after a Straight to Hell onto a barbed-wire chair.
Booker T and Sharmell defeated Robert Roode and Ms. Brooks in a Mixed Tag Team match (10:47)
- Sharmell pinned Brooks with a school girl after knocking Brooks into Roode.
- After the match, Robert Roode punched Sharmell in the face.
Johnny Devine and Team 3D (Brother Ray and Brother Devon) defeated Jay Lethal and The Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley) in an Ultimate X match (12:02)
- Devon grabbed the X Division belt to win.
A.J. Styles and Tomko (c) defeated Kevin Nash and Samoa Joe to retain the TNA World Tag Team Championship (12:10)
- Tomko pinned Joe after a Tornado-Plex.
- During the match, Kevin Nash left Samoa Joe to fend for himself.
James Storm defeated Eric Young (c) to win a Two of out Three Falls Drinking Championship Series
- Storm won the first fall, a drinking and trivia contest, after Young missed a question.
- Young won the second fall, a contest to see who could hold their urine in the longest, after Storm wet his pants.
- Storm won the third fall, who could drink the longest without passing out, when Young passed out.
Kurt Angle (c) (with Karen Angle) defeated Christian Cage to retain the TNA World Heavyweight Championship (18:45)
- Angle pinned Cage after a springboard elbow smash from A.J. Styles and an Angle Slam.
- During the match, A.J. Styles interfered on Angle's behalf.^[2]
